Vice on climate change. Very interesting imo. Talks about things such as the "donor capital fund" that the oil industry have used to pay people close to $100 million to deny global warming.

Global Warming is Increasing the Crime Rate According to "Scientists." The Propaganda Continues!!! Pay your Carbon Taxes, slaves, and you'll be safe!!! Don't doubt Global Warming (I mean climate change, that's the new brand name for it), or the radical liberals will lump you in with the Holocaust deniers.

Well, he's worth like 200 million, but it's mostly from Apple and Current TV. Not sure what those have to do with his alarmist lies.

Al Gore is worth $300 million. Who knows his divorce settlement was worth and Al has increased his net worth from $2 million after he left office in 2000. Anyone really his climate change promotion is what has enabled him to do so ?

And as proof, I offer nothing. Which means I'm right by your standards.

You know...I was always like **** Al Gore before...

I actually kind of like how he scammed the masses into believing his propaganda, and then turns around and buys a mansion in Santa Barbara right on the ocean.

I just hope that his followers realize he is poking them in the eye by buying a home there, but they probably don't unfortunately.

Tu quoque /tuːˈkwoʊkwiː/,[1] (Latin for "you, too" or "you, also") or the appeal to hypocrisy, is a logical fallacy that attempts to discredit the opponent's position by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with that position; it attempts to show that a criticism or objection applies equally to the person making it. This dismisses someone's point of view based on criticism of the person's inconsistency and not the position presented[2] whereas a person's inconsistency should not discredit the position. Thus, it is a form of the ad hominem argument.[3] To clarify, although the person being attacked might indeed be acting inconsistently or hypocritically, such behavior does not invalidate the position presented.

Michael Mann Facing Bankruptcy

This site could be an oil company front. With that stated:
Quote:
Massive counterclaims, in excess of $10 million, have just been filed against climate scientist Michael Mann after lawyers affirmed that the former golden boy of global warming alarmism had sensationally failed in his exasperating three-year bid to sue skeptic Canadian climatologist, Tim Ball. Door now wide open for criminal investigation into Climategate conspiracy.

...

The fact Mann refused to disclose his ‘hockey stick’ graph metadata in the British Columbia Supreme Court, as he is required to do under Canadian civil rules of procedure, constituted a fatal omission to comply, rendering his lawsuit unwinnable. As such, Dr Ball, by default, has substantiated his now famous assertion that Mann belongs "in the state pen, not Penn. State." In short, Mann failed to show he did not fake his tree ring proxy data for the past 1,000 years, so Ball’s assessment stands as fair comment. Moreover, many hundreds of papers in the field of paleoclimate temperature reconstructions that cite Mann’s work are likewise tainted, heaping more misery on the discredited UN’s Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) which has a knack of relying on such sub prime science.

People hit Gore with this carbon footprint stuff and I don't know if it's true, don't really care. Standard fare for progressives, care about the hungry, but not enough to give up any of their luxuries, etc, etc, etc. There would be no hungry, at least in the USA, if liberals weren't stingy ****bags.

Everybody is god damned Ayn Rand when the rubber hits the road.

Who cares if something is true if it fits your worldview already, right?

Gore has given up millions of dollars of his earnings to fund non-profit climate education groups. I guess that counts as giving up some of your luxuries.

It's hilarious that you fault 'stingy liberals' for not feeding the hungry when conservative politicians just succeeded to cut $8.9b from the food stamp budget. (After trying $40b and $20b)

1. A lot of people want to keep the money they earn. So all of those people out there that don't want their tax dollars going to food stamps and are cheering this measure taken by conservative politicians....they have every right in the world to cheer it and be happy about it....AND they are not bad people or wrong for cheering it....BECAUSE it is THEIR money.

2. It isn't being stingy...because these people realize a big % of their money is getting wasted up, frauded up, and laundered through corrupt federal government.

3. The ironic thing about it all is that it has been shown that conservatives who are much less apt to giving up their money to the government in the name of social justice or whatever gay term they use these days, are much more likely to donate their money to help the downtrodden. And libtards who want the government to do the work by taking money from other people, are much less likely to help the downtrodden through donations than conservatives.

Silverbug doesn't really give a **** if minorities or women or homosexuals get a fair shake, but when it comes to paying for food stamps suddenly fairness is a priority.

Either this or he is hoping that it encourages some to look for jobs and that a lower government budget will lead to future tax cuts which will then lead to economic growth and more jobs.

First, we have his posting history sooo...I know what way Im guessing.
Second, right now we have three plus applicants for each job so...

you actually seem completely ignorant of what Al Gore says since know where does he say individuals can't or shouldn't have a big carbon footprint. In fact, Al could have a fleet of private airplanes and he wouldn't be contradicting a thing he's said or being a hypocrite.

But you are demonstrating that, to use a phrase similar to your own language, you are an ignorant Conserva-tard!
