Think about it, let's say your life is such a mess that you can't even get an ID no matter what color you are. If that was the case the last thing on your mind would be "**** how the hell am I going to vote 245 days from now if I don't have an ID!" If your life is that screwed up the LAST thing on your mind is "omg I'm not going to be able to vote."

You can't even function as a basic human being in society without an ID. No checking account, no apartment or house, no job, no car. But yeah, once they finally do get that oh so allusive ID that even the lowest of the low bottom feeders of society have in more cases than not, they are going to be screaming from the rooftops..... I'm not a fan of ending on mic drops so I'll add: a big part of "not having ID" is not having a current ID. If you don't need a license to drive, there's little impetus to be on the ball and update that regular-ass ID.

How would it effect their life being able to vote? They don't have a car, a checking account, and their life is probably a complete disaster.

If the left actually cared about people who can't even get a basic ID, they'd help them get an ID so they can become a functioning human being at the most basic level, than worrying about them being able to vote without an ID so they can vote for the bought and paid for politician of your choice.
