Adam Kokesh Trial Unchained Adam Kokesh Trial Unchained

01-14-2014 , 03:30 PM
Well less 100 hours left before Adam 'The Man' Kokesh goes back in the can. He did another radio interview, with some 'Liberty' movement bottom-feeders, on Sunday 2014-1-12. Not anything new to report... The Man still claims he's "anti-government" and is still fantasizing about the most pro-government thing you can do: run for POTUS. Smart he isn't.

However, he did get his pre-sentencing report. And he says he isn't looking too good on Friday...

According to the [man], he has nerve damage as a result of his June 8, 2013 arrest caused by the police... He has seasonal hay fever... His last medical physical was while detained at D.C. Jail... The [Man]'s criminal history dates back to 2005 and is high in severity... the [Man] conspired with others to smoke marijuana in front of the White House and travel to load a rifle on Washington, D.C... and remains loyal to his cause, shows his immaturity and lack of discipline... he continues to exhibit this repetitive behavior with minimal consequences. He has shown time and time again that he is a danger and has made a decision not to adhere to a law abiding regimen... Since he has actively professed to refuse to obey certain laws, demands, and commands... a split sentence is warranted.

And... Adam 'The Man' stays out of the can... for now.

According to the Washington Times, the DC prosecutors asked for a year for the three gun violations, and five days for the pot violation. Instead, according to the Washington Post the judge gave the The Man time served, two years probation (surely with piss test), and no more guns (required to register as a gun offender)...

Judge Patricia A. Broderick said she placed Kokesh on probation because he had adhered to her orders since his release in November.

Kokesh has to register as a gun offender. He said he plans to move to California. About a dozen of his supporters clapped softly when Kokesh was allowed to leave the courtroom.
If any of the sheeple gotta few extra $$$$$ to donate to The Man's 'liberty' they can get sheared in person at the 'official' AdamTheMan-vs-TheGovernment.con begging website relaunch pizza party, this Sunday.

LOL, not at all.

In fact, it was before your reg date, but I already posted that I felt he should have got time served for his hapless publicity stunt. And lest we forget... he's only half way through that ordeal, in fact less than half because the VA charges are much more serious... and have a mandatory minimum of two years, so he can't skate on the indulgence of a librul judge again.

But this brings up one of the most hilarious points of libertarianism, as well expressed by Adam The Man Kokesh. The farcical dance of claiming you are "anti-government", while at the same time bleating about "statist"-rights. Or Commonwealth rights, in this case.

Despite my several completely wrong speculations of how The Man's legal drama will unfold... I'm going to double-down and handicap that VA throws him in the can, and for 4+ years. Once again... not what I'm hoping for, just what I'm handicapping.

So, how about we get back again to the hilariousness of the typical libertarian-type/"statist"-rights-ian world view? How does it play out that the DC judge bends over backwards, let's The Man outta jail pending sentencing, and then overrules the plea bargain made with the prosecutors to grant The Man only time served -vs- if the 'statist' level prosecutors throw the book at him and then perhaps prevailing at trail??

You may be speaking truth my doppelganger interwebs friend, but after all this time, I kinda care about The Man... well sort-of.

Anyways, today was the day when Adam 'The Man' Kokesh was due in court to face his VA shrooms and guns charges. When last we left him, he was free on bond, but facing up to 15 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of two years.

And...

The prosecutors declined to proceed, they called "Nolle prosequi". The Man stays out of the can !!!1!

When I saw you had bumped this thread, I clicked to post that no one cares about Kokesh except you, but my pony didn't even have a chance on this one.

Hopefully he takes some legal advice before his next stunt. Another conviction could really jeopardize his presidential chances.

IIRC Adam The Man Kokesh is looking at a two years mandatory-minimum w/mandatory drug testing after prison. Now... that's one A-hole who really know how to... Live raw A-hole !!!1!

Yeah for sure.

Well, unless he messes up again, Adam 'The Man' Kokesh skates on prison for his stupid publicity stunt of 2013-7-4. Since nobody cares about this second-rate con man anymore, I guess I'll bid him adieu... after a last few comments.

The three biggest LOLZ were (a) the cops initially deemed his self-incriminating ewetoobz a fake, they didn't bother arresting him until after he made a press announcement a few days later insisting that surveillance footage would show it wasn't, (b) the tiny band of sheeple trying to organize a 'jury nullification' scheme for this con man, and (c) not one, but two, groups of 'liberty movement' huskers pocketed all the money the sheeples donated for his defense, while his 'liberty' roommates looted all his belongings.

Three thingees remain unexplained about his legal situation. (#1) Why did he end up in PC while in jail. Completely unreliable fellow jail birds claimed he was a snitch. (#2) What was the deal with the attempt to smuggle a cell phone into jail. His 'liberty' lawyer was removed from the case in 'emergency' session for having a 'conflict' the next day. The Man copped a DC guilty plea, which granted him immunity regarding the cell phone, just days later. (#3) How come the VA prosecutors first said they'd dismiss their charges, then 'The Man pleads guilty to up to 15yrs prison, and then he gets a suspended sentence.
