Actually in the terms and conditions it states you receive 11,500 in account and then 1k once you verify buying into the Main Event. How is that not stealing? Obviously they want players to promote and play not to just cash out and do whatever but its the players money won regardless.

In that case, ignore what I said. I think I was repeating what a rep said here, but be sure to verify it if it matters to you.

Also, I don't see how it's stealing if they let you know what the terms are ahead of time.

I did see the quotes in here. I also just re checked the site and it only says 12500 in account now. I literally checked 2 days ago as I was playing some steps at the time and it said different. So I wasn't the only one who probably had an issue with it and it was changed. Just because its in some fine print terms before hand doesnt make it right. Maybe stealing isnt the right word. Good they changed it.

And the main reason it would be kind of shady is just the tight time frame. You could potentially win the package just before Day1a begins. Now cashouts can be pretty quick and sometimes not so much as we all know. Idk about you but having to get to Vegas with a day or 2 to spare isnt ideal nor cost effective so last minute. You could understand people deciding not to play or have "no choice" when their cash out window is a bit tight. So if just pocketing 1k of what is essentially prize pool money is cool with you then hey good for you.

It really is kind of a moot point but the network wouldnt be pocketing any money if all a player has to do is follow the terms. Just because someone doesn't happen to care enough to check all of the details doesn't put the network in the wrong. Just another case of someone pointing the finger and blaming someone else rather than looking in the mirror and realizing the problem is with who they see.

So why did they literally just change it to the way it should of been from the start if it's "moot"

It obv just opened up a can of worms because you know the way cash outs are and the reality of getting to Vegas in time might be impossible. So making terms so the player is screwed because there very well may be no other option made no sense maybe? Kudos to them for changing it is all.

It's a moot point because there is nothing they did is/was wrong. Even if they did keep the old terms no one would be getting screwed because it was clearly stated and no player would be forced to play the steps to begin with if they didn't like those terms. Maybe if you looked at them changing the terms to help players out instead of righting wrong you wouldn't be so concerned about it.

PCPC steps will start ASAP we just need to do some technical things with the current steps to change it
