FWIW... one OD missing from my Tournament History and S&C points today. That makes 5 out of the last 90.

Serious question

Myself and some grinder friends just feel it's time to hang it up and look towards other things this coming year

It's been a long rough year of disconnects, lag out's, fair game play questions, and no extra kickbacks to offset the rake that is crushing any profits

So I would like to hear from others before I make my final decision

Is the game dead to rake and even ability?

Its hard though because I scratch my head everytime I see my opponents cards
The two, three and runner runner outs are just impossible to fade anymore to get ahead

A long time grinder at wits end I guess

And rake is very reasonable, just the lack of fishes thanks to bots

I remember the old days of winning almost a distance memory though

My bum hurts
Grrrr Russians

The game is still win-able pre-rb

Hypers are fun but take the guys you frequently see sitting first in the lobby's and sharkscope them. If you have a sharkscope subscription then filter everything else out showing hyper/super turbo hu sngs.

Some of these guys have over a sample of 1-2k+ games and are barely winning otherwise just losing. We are talking about regs making maybe 0.5 to 1.5% as winners or being -3% losers for a lot of them. The RB isn't much especially if we are talking about games under $60.

Turbos are reg speed are still more then beatable but if you are trying to rely on flip poker for an side income then their are just better ways to make money imo.

As said above and in other threads on here these hyper bots dry up the games and clear out fish money for others.

eh my roi is very reasonable on wpn, just avoid the bots and bumhunt constantly.

sort of easy for me to say as 25 games/day is good enough for me on wpn as Im canadian and wpn is 4th down my list of sites, if I see mfg in the lobby I just don't sit, I have 35 games avg/hour on my other sites doesn't matter to me. For American grinders tho thats gotta be tough.

What do you guys think of 9 man triple ups? I have played a few on Bodog and like them more than DoNs.

I mainly play hypers due to lack of available volume in other formats and the fact that I'm an action junkie. But some of these guys put me on megatilt and I can't help but wear out the rematch button. I can hold my own but its very annoying to constantly lose garbage shoves by them. I do find that over aggression tends to work better against these bots

bots have very balanced ranges and book keep 100% correctly. If you aren't a hs crusher how do you expect to beat them for the ~2.05%ish rake?

I admit I have picked up some plays from mfg et al. but other than improving your poker mind I don't see the point. If you are a fun player then don't help the bots sit a local human at your stakes
01-04-2015 , 10:55 AM
If I sit first am I grntd to play a human? I.e. bots can only sit first right
01-04-2015 , 11:09 AM
No they sit as well

I know stop feeding these idiots everyone
But I understand it's hard to avoid them they are annoying
It's also hard not to rematch cuz they suck so bad
I also doubt it's worth it to play for hours

Again decline button and they die off imo

i think i prefer dons over triple ups just because i prefer to play 6 handed over full ring. although i will admit i played a 2 table 18 person don on bovada and it was the easiest thing ive ever played

I also prefer 6 max games but when I am in the mood to mass table I can only handle full ring games. Just an idea I thought I would throw out there.

idk why you say they suck, they are very hard to beat imo. Like I looked through my hands after and can't figure out proper counter strategies. Yes they make bad vacuum plays but I think there ranges are very hard to beat

9 ppl paid lol??? thats an ill format and ya, im sure u could fold to the money everytime on bovada
01-04-2015 , 07:49 PM
@bee

Just limp them and see how lol there cards are when you call shoves
Also they play the check raise on river often.. If they lead river less then pot just shobe

Take them to river

I could list more counters

No need to cbet more then min as well... They will call or fold regardless of your bet sizing

There sizing on limps is easy to figure out as well in regards to range

Their ranges are narrower then you might think actually

It's funny to me one crazy guy speaks of ten k missing and wpn gets butt hurt
But you have endless people straight out saying these bots are out of control and no public acknowledgement is ever made

It is also disheartening that in two years no husng promo has even been spoken of

WTF needs to happen for at least some concern from the reps
Is it crazy for regs of husng to at least be asking for a dam promo
01-06-2015 , 05:07 PM
What are the names of the bots?
