WPN REFUNDS from sept 18 WPN REFUNDS from sept 18

anyone get their touney or sng refund yet? are you able to get through to support for bcp?
09-18-2013 , 02:45 PM
Only got MTT refunds for the price of the MTT, even deep in one and it looks like they just gave everyone back their buyin vice paying according to remaining chip counts -- I lost ~$200 in equity, awesome.

Also I was not refunded for the $22 SNG I was in during the crash. I e-mailed support and am awaiting a reply.

Pretty unhappy about how that was handled in general.
09-18-2013 , 03:01 PM
live support said they are working on them and it will take a while since they have to go through each one manually to figure out who gets what refund
09-18-2013 , 03:06 PM
Yeah I lost atleast 350-400 bucks in equity last night, thanks to this. No refunds yet either.

I've been on this site since 5 months after bf, your not gonna get refunds for cash game pots when the server goes down

when they give tournament refunds, they still rake you, and they ARENT TRANSPARENT ABOUT ANYTHING....WHICH SHOULD BE A RED FLAG THAT YOU CANT TRUST THEM

unless you want to be a sheep like some of the people itt

We Only keep the rake when the tournament is after late registration. Anything that is before late registration we pay back all fees. If anyone wants a screenshot from customer services to see what has been refunded to your accounts then contact them!

09-18-2013 , 05:22 PM

09-18-2013 , 05:28 PM
so I just opened up "my tournaments" and now the tournament i was in when the server went down is back on my list and after opening the lobby the tournament is paused and everything is the way it was chip count wise and levels..etc..is the sites way of informing us that this tournament is still be resolved from yesterday because it wasn't listed earlier today in "my tournaments" but now it is...

Me (GreatHornedOwl) to ACR in an email ---

We suddenly had our tourney stopped during the 2nd level of play.
Here are the facts:

Tourney nr (1273327) $3 sng normal
message was - the tournament is suspended by the host

RufusTFirefly99 610 (button)

lilnbil 1590

olpoho55 2920

fadintherails 1503

GreatHornedOwl 2630

WhoInThe 912

PataePalo 1660

Rero16 320

BrassHorn 1355

Upper left "Current: 199885006"
(is this a hand nr?)

Please let me know what will happen to my entry fee of $3.30?
Or will we be rewarded according to how we placed at the time of the suspension? (I was in 2nds place). In fairness to all, all entry fees should be refunded.

I also have snapshots of the main lobby, the tourney lobby, and the table itself, if you would like me to send them.

I have seen no update to my account. Tourney #1273327, a SNG normal, cost me a $3 entry fee and a .30 rake. It was suspended by the host. I expected to see a balance of $xxx.xx. You show a balance of xxx.xx. I also had entered another SNG turbo which got stuck after 6 of the 9 required entries (including mine). This likely accounts for another difference. I was unable to cancel it after trying repeatedly to do so. When tourney 1273327 was suspended by the host, I could not get anything else to work.
That tourney cost me another $3 entry and a 25 cent rake.

Please take my account back to the $xxx.xx balance before all this happened.

Well it appears I am getting nowhere real fast. Let's hope I get somewhere real soon! If they need them I have screen shots of the lobby, the tourney lobby and the table of when it stopped, plus the chat going on at the time. I may try sending them those screenshots next what does anyone think? I know this is small stakes, but I am trying out Americascardroom for the first time. Up to now I was very impressed.

GUYS WPN pretty much scammed us all, so we all bought in to major tournaments lot of us busted out and ACR JUST PAID the remainder players with their buyins and kept the buyins from the players who busted. How is this not Stealing???????? you guys should have gotten paid according to your chip ratio if they weren't going to refund the other players their buyin. ITs their fault not ours that the server crashed! honest this is a pretty fuked up situation!
09-20-2013 , 10:30 AM
all the major tournaments were pretty deep so they definitely made lot of money by keeping the whole **** Pricepool so here is the deal 5k guranteeee so oh yea lets just play the 20 players remaing the other 30 who busted we will hangon to their money for the server crash overtime for our techs

NO! I want that money to be distributed to the players that were left in the Damn tournament. why should WPN keep the remainder of the prize pool?

Please point me in the direction of where we said that we were going to keep the rest of the prizepool. I have to be honest here and say that i dont know where this came from.

We do not keep any money from the players.. We do not steal anyones money... When these things happen we lose money.

Please do let me know where you saw that info of us keeping money?

yes, that's what they're doing.

It seems some confusion.

If you buy into a tournament for $10+$1 and the tournament has to be refunded , you are refunded your $10+$1 so $11 total, the exact amount you spent if you are still in the event.

All money is returned to players that they spent to get into the tournament who have not busted out.

I think the obvious question that'll be asked by MTT'ers is what happens to the remaining prize pool after those still in the MTT are refunded the buy-in amount and those that busted are excluded?

Are those funds to be reimbursed to those in the MTT split evenly across the board or even better, via chip equity? I think there have been answers sprinkled across the board in this forum, but perhaps a STICKY dedicated to the past week of issues with CLIFFS could help eradicate any confusion.

It is even worse than the host keeping the funds off all the players that busted out. I was still in 2nd place and all I got back was the host fee, and non of the much larger prize fund contribution I made. They say they are still working on it. How long does this take an d why did I only get the host fee back?

i was paid TBs for a refund when ive never had nor used TBs in the past, yet the customer support person told me I HAD USED THEM BEFORE, yet the only things i play are double or nothings and u CANT use them for those...but she must be right tho because customer support is never wrong and at americas cardroom the customer is always wrong....if she woulda said something like let me check into that or hold while i review your account and realized she was wrong then fine but NOPE she just told me that was that and i was basically screwed
09-20-2013 , 05:41 PM
and by the way im not trying to tear into ACR as i liked playing there and i think i still plan to once they fix my refund situation but the fact that its been 3-4 days now and im not even seeking out very much money and they make me run thru all these hoops to get even a portion of it.....well its just extremely frustrating and deprives me of any desire to play at the moment

site seems to be working well now....

so let me give you an example lets say you had a 500 gtd tournament

100 players get in with a fee of 5+.50 that 500+50

70 players bust out 30 remaining

so the 30 get 5 bucks each 150? what the hell happened to the 350 from the busted players why the hell didn't you guys give it to those 30 players that were remaining in the freaking tournament? if that is not keeping players money than what is. guys I don't know what you all are thinking but this is a very serious concern.

I just gave you an example of a 5 dollar MTT there were two 100+9 tournaments running at that time too so imageall the money they kept from all the players that busted so if 50 signup with rentry top 10 got paid their buyin so that 1100 what happened to the 3900?.

This is clearly stealing from the players. I don't care how you guys look at it.

Im still not sure where these assumptions are coming from. Why do you keep saying that we dont pay out the rest of the prizepool? where is your evidence of this?

Once again, we do not keep remaining prize pools.
