I like those 6r's pretty well. As you said they don't end up playing as deep/slowly as the 15 min blind tourneys. The chipleaders late in the tourney often have around 20-30 BB and people really tend to make a lot of mistakes with those stacks imo.

I think I mentioned this before in this thread, but I haven't cashed once with the new structures of those rebuy's. Sucks, because I used to do really well in them. Hell, in the 7pm, you could buy in and rebuy right before the first break, add-on, and still be in great shape to make a deep run.

Yeah I definitely approach them a bit differently now. Building a stack pre add-on was just kind of a bonus if you ran hot early in the old structure, now it's a necessity.

I just try to build a big stack and set a "no more rebuys" cutoff point usually around the 125/250 blind level. If the blinds are any higher than that I just give up on it.

I predict they will switch it back to the old structure pretty soon, or something more resembling the old structure.

The numbers have spoken: 3 nights in a row this $2k GTD R/A has overlay. It used to consistently smash the guarantee.

I actually won 2 of them during that short week-long 10 min blind experiment

Tonight they have changed it back to 15 minute blinds, but with 2k starting stack, so 4k if you double buy. Seems excellent.

I was a big fan of the rebuy tournaments. The 1 rebuy 1 add on $5 (1500 rebuy 1500 add on). I also liked the old structure with a lot of the $4 and $6 rebuys. There was one almost every hour. Can we please get back to that? preferably structured with similar amounts in rebuy compared to add on. Please no huge add on chip amount.

Just won a freeroll satellite to the $215 tomorrow. What happens if I unregister? Do they have tourney dollars? tourney tickets?

You can't unregister.

They give tourney bucks only if you win multiple satties to the same tourney.

I imagine the satellite traffic would be immensely better if this was not the case, hint hint

Guys this is off Topic but ever since they stopped raking the BBJ it has hit. i just find this odd because if not it was hitting every other two weeks to one of the house players that i had never heard of and now it just hasnt it. i think WPN is sort of Sketchy and shady in some areas.

Reg with cash when you think you are gonna win the seat. Then when you win the seat you get tourney bucks. Then you can unreg and get the cash. I'm fairly sure WPN does not care about this as one of the representatives confirmed that this was the only way to do it a month ago in a different thread.

How do the tourneys on WPN compare the to the tourneys on Carbon? I was playing on there for a while but withdrew my money and am thinking about depositing to WPN. What do you guys think?

I'm sure this has been mentioned, but when someone is "inactive" you can't see their chip counts when they become active again. It's frustrating as hell. Seriously fix this cuz i have to reboot ACR everytime someone at the table sits out.
