I don't disagree with any of this. He appears to be very competent, and I pay very close attention to the way that I play him.

That being said, I just checked my database because I am pretty sure I get the best of him more often than not. Sure enough, Net Chips Won is skewed heavily in my favor.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I am better than him in any way shape or form, but it appears that I know where to get my money in against him.
09-28-2013 , 10:34 PM
Yeah to be fair I am pretty sure the best strat vs him, particularly if you're oop, is just to simply tighten up your ranges, which we all know Debaser is good at
09-28-2013 , 10:44 PM
Ha....

I'd say the best part of game is workin that fold button.

Scotty, it looks like you and I are about even. You have a slight lead on me.

It's kinda interesting looking at the top 25 players that I win chips from. A lot of the players I thought would be in there, are not.
09-28-2013 , 11:00 PM
Boney,

with regard to LAG vs TAG. My personal advice would be to completely forget about aiming to be one or the other. I try to adapt my ranges based on my opponents, all while just staying conscious of whatever image that may create for me.

Sometimes I find myself opening 80% of hands and 3betting like crazy. Other times I fold 10 straight orbits and people forget I'm even at the table.

You played extremely well in that tournament earlier today. Noticed you having a big stack and then a 10BB stack and then climbed your back to the top .....think this took place 2 or 3 times for you in this tournament. Nice finish!

I mentioned earlier how most of my player notes are very generalized. stuff like "agro spew donkey" or "tight reg." My note on brokefinger is actually "doesn't make mistakes really." lol.
09-28-2013 , 11:25 PM
Anyone in anything now?

I appreciate it but I def spew sometimes lol. Busted in a huge 32k pot in the 10k getting into a race w the chip leader, ak<qq ace in the window, Q on the turn, should have just folded but hate being pushed around

I'm deep in the 4k right now
09-28-2013 , 11:37 PM
I'm in 3 tourneys, all still relatively early though. Have 15k chips in the 4k R/A currently @ 150/300
09-28-2013 , 11:47 PM
just went from 1/20 in the $k to busted in 15th brutal
09-28-2013 , 11:50 PM
Just the 1k and 500

Busted out of the 4k really quickly. I hate the structure of those r/a's now.

Running pretty terribly today.

Jesus I'm getting worked today. Haven't won a coin flip all day, getting 3-bet by donks with 36s, hitting a set, and then getting sucked out on, and am just playing terrible all around.

I should probably smoke some pot.

you should be smoking pot the entire time, don't wait until your losing to smoke
09-29-2013 , 12:59 AM
Yeah, I don't smoke a whole lot. I have had the same 1/8th since May.

But you may be on to something. Thank god for the break just now. I was about to go full monkey tilt.

Woot, good night. Shipped the $6 rebuy for a bit over $900 and also took 3rd in the 1k for $200 even. No complaints!

You mowed me over pretty good in the 1k. Good to hear you went so deep.

Pretty rough day for me, but it looks like I'll probably break even or a little above. Just have to wait and see how I do in the 300 and the 200.

This is insane. The only way I would accomplish that is if I lost an eighth back in May and then found it again today.
