I agree with you guys that this is probably the case. Still unfortunate that it is happening though.

Probably just the foreign transaction fee's. What I was talking about was people getting hundreds of dollars taken off their cards or someone at least attempting to, from various foreign countries.

I'm on BCP as well, but haven't experienced this issue. I will say this, before we jump to any conclusions, it's not entirely improbable that an employee stole the database to sell to another company or it was hacked.

on the bcp main lobby, under the help tab, click faq. there is a statement that they absolutely do not give or sell our personal information to any 3rd parties.

"Will you share my information with any third party?

The privacy of information regarding our customers is of the utmost importance to us at BlackChip Poker. We do not share any data with third parties."

who knows, maybe the info database was stolen. if so, even that's kind of creepy.

That's my guess, but honestly it happens all the time.

Then we need a wpn rep to come in here and shed some light on this instead of just ignoring it.

Maybe someone with access decided to "affiliate" the entire player pool onto a casino and using that to get around the 3rd party sharing verbage.

These networks are really unsecure from anyone who has access in the building. They probably also have several databases for different purposes.

If it was someone in marketing sales on their own its pretty stupid.

A) make it stop go away.
B) dont bs us or im gone you lost my trust.

It's easy to think you're being BS'd though if you expect it. If a rep comes here and says they aren't aware, it could be true. Just saying, my experience with WPN has been nothing but spectacular. My fiancé works in marketing for a casino. Her boss, the VP brought a list of 200k+ when getting the job from another casino. It's standard, but unfair to consumers x

Well maybe i cant get the exact truth, but i do expect something, which is not too much to ask. I too am a supporter of the site as well as blackchiprep, and im in no way blaming him or anybody.

Just want an explanation.

i made my first real money deposit yesterday on ACR. my current phone number does get a lot of bs calls but usually not texts. i usually dont even get too much email or snail mail even though i have many sportsbook accounts (some shadier than others).

anyways i got a text tonight from 4208 saying "Breanne@processing.ibiz.cc/Short adv/ Got bank account?/ Got job? :[ http://qerY.us/3in]: sSurURe"

i have a strong feeling it has something to do with WPN/ACR etc

I'm disappointed that this thread has been live for days now, multiple other players have confirmed getting the same mailing, emails, etc and no network rep has responded....while I am sure one has surely viewed this thread by now.

Haven't noticed any of this yet (had such a case before as well that would suggest odd casino spam ties to iPoker skins) and play on ACR and BCP, but sent the link to this thread to the ACR Rep for review.

Yes, I got one of these shortly after I signed up for ACR.

I just PM'ed the BCP rep about this w/ linked thread. If for some reason they didn't know then, they'll know soon enough.

I was going to deposit to a WPN skin this month but I'm holding off until this disturbing thread is handled accordingly and we're assured our sensitive information is not/will not be released.
