Last week a total of 242 got a seat through the beast into the 25 seat GTD coming this Sunday!

I mean in the 25 dollar satellite. I remember I played a 25 dollar satellite months ago for that "200k main event" and a nice top 20 or 30 players all got the seat. I'm wondering if it's like that in this satellite to the 500 dollar buy in one, so as making it worth going through the trouble of putting money onto the site to get a shot.

can someone tell me what i can do if i have won 2 entries into the 1million GTD? does the 2nd one have any use? like can i exchange it for cash or anything or is it just useless?

It is issued as tournament bucks I believe or you can get it converted. Not sure of the exact process, but it's basically cash with a 1x rollover.

We now have 6 seat freerolls going to the 3x turbo $5 R/A's. They will be running throughout the day an hour and a half before the sat starts!

Whatever happened to the thought of running some daily tournaments with a portion of the accumulated prize pool going to $1 million entries?

(ie: $4,000 GTD event, first place would be around $800, which would be awarded as a $1 mil entry + $260 in cash)

That would take dev work which we dont have time for right now. I dont hate the idea but im not sure how popular this would be.

^^ Pitched it I believe in September. Didn't have to effect current tournaments (like the Big 10's). But an added event per night or a few times a week definitely couldn't have hurt..

If you are already registered for the event then any new seat you win is immediately credited to your account as tournament dollars. You can see this balance on your cashier page.

I don't think it's the smartest thing in the world, but no, it's not concerning at all. You can play from a Mac anyway, there is nothing hard about running Windows on a Mac. The CEO confirmed that the Mac client will be ready in Feb.

Regardless, I think you're overestimating the amount of Mac only users by a ton.

General public is not going to spend $ 150-300 and the hassle to get windows up and running on a mac just to play their tables cmon ...
