Except checks don't take months on this site. So what exactly do you mean?

If you have the choice between great software and super slow cashouts, or horrible software and fast cashouts, which do you take?

Hence why I don't play on WPN atm. I play on Merge and get the best software and on PokerHost so I get the fastest cashouts. Easy game. Not sure what that has to do w/ what I said though?

great software and slow cashouts all day

but i'm sure it depends on the person

+1

Only put on what you need and cash out every chance you get, easy game. The only site with unacceptable cash outs is Revolution any way, sans Interops.

As long as the money gets there I don't care if the cashouts take months. If the software sucks then I can't play enough tables and make enough money anyways. Anymore than 4 tables on WPN and I start going dumb and blind. Can't make enough money to justify wasting my time.

Sites with slow cashouts are almost always sketchy so I do see your point though. No point in grinding 16 tables on the nut software if the site is ponzi scheming you and you might not see that money ever.

...Anything new on this front?

I started out all "I don't care about software...BCP's is fine" and after just a month of being around poker I'm anxiously awaiting this software upgrade. The current software is just so antiquated it's unreal.

I was checking out JuicyStakes earlier as it's also offered in my area and their software is far, far ahead of ours here.

Have fun with waiting 4 months + then for your cashouts to arrive.

I've never had an issue with BCP software over hundreds of sit n gos. Maybe some features for cash or MTTs screw with you guys? I've never crashed, hands are dealt fine, I never see any glitches (oh, once on a 2nd table I had the deck display in a different style for the first hand..). I don't see the major issue, at least not to the extent of "omg it's terrible."

I mean, you mention Juicy Stakes Nostalgia, that software has crashed so many times and so many bugs have happened that have put users through hell... I can't see how it's not the worst USA software.

I didn't say I was going there. I have my bankroll on BCP. And I certainly can't attest as to the stability of JS's software as I've never used it. I just meant that in the features department, our software here on BCP is a little bare bones for 2013.

As for BCP's stability? I haven't had even the slightest hiccup of any kind, in fairness.

From an acr rep in the official acr thread

We are very excited that you are so excited about the new client and the MTT schedule. The new client is definitely on its way. In fact, I just personally got back from visiting with our development team in their hollowed out volcano, top secret location. Much of the meetings were testing and playing with the new client and going through a list of small remaining bugs. I am happy to say that the new client will enter its final round of testing next Monday (barring unforeseen circumstances *knock on wood*) and we should be looking to release it the following week. BTW – it is absolutely awesome, and you should be as excited as you are

dope

Lets hope so and hope it increases traffic.
06-27-2013 , 07:27 PM
I will admit that I am very surprised more people are not talking about this. I know it's not guaranteed that the new software is coming out in less than 2 weeks....but I thought more people would be buzzing about this.

ACR/BCP REP, is there any way we can get another picture posted of the software? (Besides the one pic already in this thread) Would love to see an example of the lobby, or another function of the software that is worth promoting.

I am a SNG player and I am extremely pumped and looking very forward to getting new software and hopefully attracting more players. Also, if the MTT schedule is getting improved, getting back into old school mode playing those as well. My volume will definitely increase if the software is as good as we hear it is.

ya, new software may def lure me to play. looking forward to this, as an online poker site, software may be the most important thing. then again, i mass table and many dont so its kind of a personal thing.

but for the discussion software and slow cashouts or fast cashouts and bad software, Im taking good software and slow cashouts all day as long as cashouts are reliable. Thats why ive been playing on merg, u can stack withdraws which is nice though. my latest cashout of 2500 #sickbrag took bout 9 full weeks but then i got another 2500 on the 10th week #sickbrag, anyway merge software is far superior to any other USA operational site. really looking forward to new software at WPN though, have never played a single hand here, simply withdrew from BCP once they switched here from merge, because of the software Ha. sng traffic seems dead at WPN though

I just started playing on this site this week. Software is terrible. Hope the new version is much better.
07-07-2013 , 12:23 PM
Hopefully it will be out sometime this century.
07-09-2013 , 12:49 PM
Maybe I'm wrong but when the rep showed up last time he said the final round of testing was to start either last Monday or the Monday before (can't remember which one) and I think a lot of people assumed that meant a week of testing. Maybe that's what it is but the rep never said that. he just said their final round of testing or whatever starts Monday and if that's all good they wanna debut the new stuff ASAP. I thought he said the next week. The problem is he never specified how long testing takes. For all we know it could take 2 months for them to finish off their final round of testing.

it could be the best software in the world but who wants to play there when they rake half of the pot each hand?

It should but its not going to. To many mass tablers creating to much rake for them to get rid of it.
07-09-2013 , 05:22 PM
The mass tablers would rather be slightly winning players instead of big losers. It's not like there's a better site to switch to anyways.
