Correct. It was also posted in the ACR support thread as well.

Wow now that's an upgrade

Really couldn't care less about what it looks like, just need better functionality. Needs to be a lot less buggy. Glad to see that they did add a button that actually opens the lobby from the tbl. Hopefully you won't actually have to figure out how many ppl were in the mtt so you can populate a payout structure that might be correct.

omg if this ever happens and they make improvements to the tournaments i can see traffic doubling.

I agree this looks nice but unless they upgrade the functionality it won't help much. #1 thing IMO is to make a table the active window when it's your turn and have a more noticeable / consistent *bing* noise when it's your turn... seems like sometimes it does not make a noise, and I'm sitting there holding up the table when it's my turn.

Everyone on 2p2 is bitching about not having an auto-timebank or preferred seating? Cool, let's design a different table layout, while not quickly resolving the issues they have.

I have a problem with all the Dusty Schmidts and the rake.

This layout has been designed for like 4 months already, so you can leave the irony at the door.

More like a mixture between Stars and the old UB.

I do believe that makes it worse. Since the bugs/issues have been around longer than that and still haven't been addressed. Instead, new table layouts and avatars were a priority, rather than fixing the issues and getting it to the customers.

does look good...hope all the issues mentioned above are ironed out with this update

Good to know that you are fully aware of the priorities, do tell more.

Are you implying they have prioritized well? Because I would think getting bugs fixed, and some basic things like auto-timebank, preferred seating, and better filters implemented, is a good bit more important than new table layouts. Especially since the current table layouts, and overall look of the site, isn't that bad to begin win. Much better than the functionality at least.

I am saying that "quick fixes at first glance" are not as easy when you work on a new version of the software at the same time as well. And let's face it, the current lobby layout and lack of advanced filter is a big turn off and needs an overhaul badly ...

Those things do need an overhaul badly, as well as the issues fixed and greater functionality. Which is why it's puzzling they would release pictures of a table layout 4 months ago, when it seems like there are more important things that could have been addressed first.

It just seems like either they prioritized poorly, or we should have new software by now. If not, what are they working on still that even now we don't have a reasonable ETA?

I think one big fix of everything as a whole is better than them releasing one thing at a time. For each random release for bug fix or one software fix it will cause more bugs which effectively takes longer than releasing it all at one time and do minor adjustments from there. If they add new features now when they are coming out with new software in the 'near future' they have to rework the new features again meaning they have to do it twice.

Also all these small networks don't have the revenue to come out with new innovations at a frequent rate. However a lot of this stuff is long overdue.

I don't plat at WPN and will not until there is preferred seating

+1 to this and to other software complaints.

I've tried like 3 times to play on WPN but I can't make it more than 30 minutes before I'm shutting it down.

I will play there when they fix the software.

CS at BCP was good for me though, I must say.

I think software is the only reason why WPN isn't the #1 network in the US. If they came out with the simple fixes that people have become accustomed to then their traffic will increase. Right now Poker Scout say there 7day avg is 290. I strongly believe a new and improved software will make WPN a top15 network.

My guess is that this is not gonna happen soon. Certain things that they knew of that didn't seem like overhaul fixes took more than a few months to implement. An entire software change is harder to implement than fixing the rebuys for example. Heck, sync breaks took at least six months to add from the time it was on the list

I think what kind of gets lost here by most players is that these poker companies are not cash cows. It cost alot of money to take and US deposits and withdrawls. Marketing expenses are huge. They dumped a ton of money into the site for rake races proir to The Beast. Do other promotions with prizes, have overlay ect. ect.

So its not like this is some greedy company that is too cheap to fix stuff. Its probably just not feasible or financially responsible to higher a huge team of software developed to possible relocate and get this project done in a few months.

Hopefully it comes soon cause from what I've heard this has been being worked on for a while now but I'd be shocked if this happened in the next couple months.
