I just wanted to post this final email I sent to ACR customer service to close my account because I didnt think it was fair or rational the way I was treated. It pretty much explains everything. Im sure I'll get a few flames, but thats ok.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am writing to ask you to please permanently close my ACR and BCP poker accounts for the following reasons:

Around the middle of December after making a few deposits , I decided to to send in my documentation(which was not requested, but on my initiative)so that if I won anything the withdrawal process would be streamlined for me.

So I sent front and back digital photos of all credit cards I had used on my accounts, proof of address, and my US passport. These were received and I was then instructed to send a copy of the cardholder agreement for each card which I tried to do.

I was informed somewhat snottily that the signature I had provided was not adequate, i had simply used the signature option that i saw in adobe pdf not aware that this was a big deal.

It presented a problem for me because i dont have a printer or a scanner and this isnt the type of thing i was comfortable doing at work. So i kinda put it on the back burner, thinking that at some point if i had the occasion to withdraw I would head over to a copy shop and take care of it. So I log in to BCP today and find my visa deposit option is missing, i get on chat to ask why and am informed that its because I haven't sent in the cardholder agreement.

So after over 700$ in deposits over a few months and sending copies of my CC, passport, and address verification, I get rudely blocked like some scumbag because of a signature?

If i hadnt taken the steps to try send in my stuff in the first place this would have never been an issue in the first place until i decided to withdraw.

So in consideration of this and the abrupt rude treatment by your security team I will taking my business elsewhere.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im just curious what you all think, I came home today, looking foward to playing a bit of poker and suddenly I cant deposit. Its freezing out, I dont feel like schlepping to the copy store, I ask if I can use the sig option in pdf which lets u draw ur sig with the mouse, told no that I wont be able to deposit again until I send in these forms. I guess what really rubbed me was it was me who initiated this process, trying to be proactive, and get slapped in the face for it. Anyway no biggie I just thought they were unfriendly and considering they had everything but the cardholder agreement to block my deposits seemed just plain unfair.

Thanks!

I received a response informing I thought rather tastelessly that it was a pleasure to be of assistance to me and my had been closed. I did however appreciate their closing my accounts out, hopefully they delete all the digital photos I sent them as well.

Seems like support handled things fine.

I hope you enjoy playing on other networks.

No offense, but you initiate the process to get verified for withdrawal...you don't do everything they ask up to spec for their security purposes ( to protect you and everybody else) and then you get upset. I understand the process is a bit annoying as I was verified as well, but what they asked isn't crazy. It doesn't sound like support did anything wrong here imo. Unless they dissed yo mama or something I dont see it

So you took offense at something someone said in an email? How did you infer tone?

Why don't you just send them the proof they asked in the form they require?

Oh - you're lazy - but not too lazy to come here and bitch - just too lazy to actually do something about it.

Do you want to play on a site that has LAX security procedures? Cause you know Lock Poker doesn't ask for any proof at all when you submit a withdraw request. Cause you're never getting your money...

Well I wasn't trying to withdraw, I just wanted to deposit as I had been for months, they had pictures of all my cards and id's and took away my deposit option simply because I didn't send in the card holder agreement, which has never happened to me on any site before, so ye I thought it was bad CS, specially since it was done with no notification or warning.

and ye it was a snotty tone, cause it wasn't in email, it was in live chat since I hadn't known why this happened and got on live chat to find out. if u browse through ACR threads youll see they have a habit of removing peoples CC option with no notification.

So you can detect tone in email?

Look - YOU initiated a process - which you then didn't complete. In a scam heavy world like poker, that should raise flags.

ye big flags when they have digital photos of everything and months of good deposit history...and once again I never received an email from them concerning the loss of my deposit options, it was live chat.

taking away ability to deposit for CHA when u have all the other papers(and good deposit history, no issues) is not anywhere near industry standard, especially with no notification. I don't see it man.

All they had to do was reinstate my cc option and tell me to get the cardholder agreement to them within a few days and it would have been fine, but they wanted to be hard asses to a decent customer. Or alternatively, send me a email saying if I don't send it within a few days they will take away my deposit option.

unreasonable to expect? I don't think so

If they were all that awful, then yes, I agree, you have a complaint.

Post logs.

Otherwise its what you said happened and what you inferred was happening, and what you *said* happened still doesn't seem terribly unreasonable, and easily resolved, but here you are raising a stink instead of resolving.

Just wanted other people to be aware so they don't make the same mistake.

Under deposits/withdraw and the FAQ, none of this info is provided and ive searched but cant find anyplace to DL the cardholder agreement or even a mention of it.

but thanks for the more moderate reply anyhow.

anyhow ive said what I wanted to say, moving on now.
