So I have a free entry for this tourney @6 PM EST. People can buy into this tourney for $55. There is a good chance I won't be able to play. I noticed there was an unregister option.

What happens if I do that? Do I get a ticket for a future freeroll, something else, or nothing at all since I didn't pay anything for the entry?

most tickets won't let you unregister, would be surprised if this one did.

The only glitchy way to keep the cash is to register for the target tournament with cash before your ticket is issued then unreg.

If you register and then sat in you get cash iirc. You then unreg and are credited the $ from your buy-in.

Yup. Except those times when they screw it up and not credit you, and then tell you they did, at which point you are **** out of luck because they don't record those transactions anywhere.

When are these tickets usually credited to your account? I won a seat in last week's beast race but still haven't seen anything hit my account.

"my tournaments" it will auto reg you, u don't actually get a ticket unless Beast differs from SnC
