my first month of play, none of this illegal operation stuff ever happened. since then it's been multiple times every single day. i'm also betting it's something in one of the more recent ACR updates that have caused this.

Yep, happens to me as well since a week ago. Exact the same situation as previous posters.

Pretty much daily. I have to reboot my computer to get it to run 75% of the times.

played on acr and blackchip once today and that was it before the illegal operation pop ups

i contacted their support over this. sent them screenshots and they said something like "try installing the software on a different computer to see if it works"

lol. yes, because installing the software on another pc to see if it works is going to somehow fix the issues on my own pc?

i politely let them know that i needed support on my computer and not someone else's computer. support then told me i needed to upgrade my computer.

Spent the last 45 minutes trying to get on one of four consoles and endless 'illegal operation' warning.

I downloaded software to get my free money promo and lobby is just stuck configuring endlessly. I uninstalled reinstalled and shutdown computer and rebooted and even used Norton Power Eraser and still just endlessly configuring. This site is amateur hour.

I spent almost an hour trying to get ACR to open. Then had to deal with lagging and disconnects. If I add in the missing rake/bonus points....it is too frustrating. I have had none of these issues with YaPoker, PokerKing or BetCoin. What gives????
08-17-2017 , 02:25 AM
well according to support it's your computer that's the problem and not their software, even though this seemed to begin happening to several people after one of their past updates.

so don't blame them. blame yourself for not having a computer that can run ACR. like they blamed me.

I have been getting the "illegal operation" error when I close the ACR client. It's been intermittent for the past few weeks and is still happening today. Hoping they can fix whatever the problem is.

I have been running into this as well and this time it wouldn't let me delete. How do I fully remove from c drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is anyone from acr on here responding? I like the site but this is obviously a problem with there software and not computers.

You have to go to File Explorer and open the c: folder. Then click on the ACR, BCP, or True folder to highlight it, right click it, go to delete, and it should take care of it. Beware, it removes your hand histories so you have to email support and ask them if they have any desire to resend them to you. It worked for awhile for me, but now.....it is an endless issue. Every time I open one of the three I get the illegal operation message and have to reboot my computer a couple of times. It seems that if I double click the console prior to the computer fully booting up, there is no issue opening correctly.

There is definitely some bugs on WPN's side. Three different MOSS games had long delays in updating their lobby. One game we had less than the minimum amount paid and it still kept allowing registrations, when a new pay level threshold was crossed it took several minutes to update the lobby, etc... Their series has been crushing the GTDs, some by double. These issues need to be fixed once and for all. It isn't the core network, I have none of these issues on three other skins, not once.

Thanks dewd.
I'll try again when I get home, but I did all those steps last night and it's not giving me a delete option.

make sure you click the console folder once so it is highlighted, then right click it for the actions.

Now that I think of it, go to the hand history folder, right click, copy, and then save it to a memory stick or something. That would enable you to save the hand histories. After you copy the entire hand history folder, then back up the tree to the open c: drive and go about deleting it as I mentioned.

Warning guys stay away from acr !! I had to uninstall again and try to delete but there is some files that won't allow you to delete. This happened yesterday so the customer service just said open in another location which worked until today! Now I'm getting the same message and it will not let me delete in the new location! Something is definitely going on with there software!

Those are in your Registry. Use an uninstall program to delete the console.

There is something buggy going on, but I doubt it is infected files.

What pisses me off is there attitude is that it's it's your computer!! And just open in another spot again!! So what I'm going to have to do this everyday now and ruin my computer! Just sucks cuz I wanted to play in those tournaments!

They don't know wtf they are talking about. I will say after totally shredding all traces of True, BCP, and ACR, I downloaded and re-installed them. Ran sweet as could be for the first couple of days, then the illegal operation alert came back. It is an endless pain in the ass. Something in the files/server is corrupt and my guess is it came about when they uploaded the OSS series. Since then, it has been a never-ending issue for me but not on the other non affiliated skins. I've forwarded the logs at least once a day and it hasn't change one bit. Repairing it doesn't appear to be a high priority.

[B]Can't wait for this to be legal again people will remember how companies acted when they thought they were the only game in town!! What sucks is they are running best tournaments right now for USA players

Can you PM me? I have been having issues and valuable hands got mucked on me deep in tourneys and this is wrong. I know it's not my computer or internet connection. I have tested the limits of my PC and I can stream Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now and Youtube while playing a star wars PC game and downloading music and multiple programs without a hiccup. But when I use ACR and I start having table freezes I make sure I only have ACR open and despite having only ACR running I've had a period where I was in the middle of two tourneys, one with like 12 BB and blinds were high and the other wasnt as bad of an issue bc I had lots of chips and the blinds were still low and table was full 9 ring. I wasnt able to open the client up for a full 20 min. I was able to get Blackchip open quickly, but ACR was fried. When I got the program open finally I lost like 40% of my stack in the deep run tourney and I was frustrated. I had to shove a hand I didn't want too and lost but what annoyed me more was that late reg just ended and I wanted to reenter to see if I could redeem myself since after spending 3 hours playing I felt cheated.

I reported it but response was that I was an isolated incident. I know this was not my fault...it was the client since I kept getting crash reports. And I seethis happen to other players too. They will be deep in a tourney and then go inactive for a few orbits and return to find a big chunk of their stack gone. Remember, when we are deep even if we have 200k chips that may only be 20 bigs and if there are 12 players left then the tables will be short handed so if one is out of the tourney for 10 or 15 min that is hugely damaging. Problem is that its impossible to quantify the economic damage for this.

I wanted something back but didnt know what. A refund of my buy in which was only 30 bucks, or a partial refund. Or entry into a similar tournament on another day would be awesome. Something...anything except putting the blame on me!

So pls PM me if u have had similar issues so we can present our issues as a group.
08-21-2017 , 02:54 PM
yup, like i said. it's their attitude that you're to blame and that you need to upgrade. not that it's their software and honestly it seems like they have no clue what this is.
