Tournament Register Button Breaking Tournament Register Button Breaking

Playing on ACR and I've been having a problem with the register button breaking for sit'n'goes and MTTs - only fix seems to be closing out software and reopening it, which is very unpractical when multi-tabling. In speaking with others, I know I am not the only one who has this problem.

I just want to know:

1) Has anybody figured out what specifically causes this? Is it somehow preventable?

2) Has anybody found a better solution than closing out software and reopening it?

as far as i know, there is no other option at the moment, all you can do is restart the client. Here's a tip to make it faster (since you have to close each and every table your on before you can close the client)

1. ctrl+atl+del (bring up your computers "task manager")

2. select your poker client.

3. press "end task"

this should force close your poker client. depending on your computer speed, you should be able to complete this whole process in about 10-20 seconds. Reopening your old games however is another issue

wpn has stated they are working on a software fix that reopens your games after restarting the client. I hope this helps you.

I'm experiencing the same issue with SNGs where a specific sng's register button completely disappears while all the other sngs register fine. It's as if I'm being selectively barred from certain games...obviously by an error/glitch somewhere... sucks as I was really looking forward to the sng promo in december but with these issues it'll be impossible to be competitive at lower stakes if i can't 30+ table all day.

I dont dare restart the client as I'll never find my tables again...I just end my session or skip those sngs that act up =/

Dr0n3, you can find your tournaments by going to Game Info --> My Tournaments along the top menu. Still, this is obviously quite inconvenient and this has been a problem for many months now. Sit'n'go traffic is being negatively affected because of this bug so I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed sooner.

that is never accurate...it will not have the correct tournaments listed in the My Tournaments pop out...it's always old games or an incomplete list... I've restarted the client with 10+ tables running and pull up My Tournaments on restart and there's only 4 of my 10 games listed, with 5 sngs that already ended still listed and I have to then manually "hunt" each table I'm regged in that's not listed. Not fun times.

game info>my tournament is often inaccurate, both listing tourneys youve already busted and sometimes not having ones you are currently in, up as well.
would be nice if "take my seat" would appear on the main client page when a tourney your're is is highlight (in the "register" slot..) like it does on tourney lobby. would save you the trouble having to open each tourneys lobby and then taking seat from there.

This is a pretty serious problem and should have been fixed along time ago. I've stopped "hoping" things would be fixed soon at WPN. I doubt they have anyone working on issues that have been brought up.

I try to reg a few minutes before the break so if it breaks I have some time to restart the client. Really no great way around it until it gets fixed.

this has been an issue since before their last big overhaul and this new v2 software...i'm sure this is not the first they are hearing about it as I've dealt with it for probably close to a year now (just my personal experience)...just wish it wasn't as frequent as it is, really going to hinder my volume
