On the topic of rakeback... On the topic of rakeback...

I am kinda just starting to get my feet wet in terms of putting in volume and trying to make side cash from poker. I have dabbled on America's Card Room for the past couple months but never seriously, only for fun.

In days gone by I remember there being rakeback sites where you could get back 25ish percent on everything you paid toward rake. At first glance when I compared the enlistment system to the old school rakeback system, I thought pure rakeback would be a no-brainer. But when I looked deeper it seems that ACR's system is pretty nice. The Beast seems like a great incentive for grinders, and the combat points seem like delicious icing on the cake.

What is the general consensus on the enlistment system, The Beast, and all the rest of it- and how does it ACTUALLY compare to the old fashioned rakeback alternative when you crunch the numbers? Let's assume I am someone who multi tables 4-6 tables of 25NL 6-max and adds full ring games when they are available (as I prefer full ring) and can do so 5-10 hours a day, 7 days a week if necessary. Last week, the first week I seriously started to grind, I was able to get 100 bucks from the rake, but this week I intend to hit the 250 dollar plateau. I will also be able to achieve the colonel level this month (already halfway there).

Thanks so much!

27% flatrakeback-deal (the beast promo is also included there) is probably better for u, because its already July and less time to the end of the year and in the elite-program u have to play around 18k rake in one year, to top this and this should be impossible on nl25.

Edit: And next year (if you still play there) can you change back to the elite program (but you should contact your affilate or acr to be sure that its possible, maybe there are diffrent deals with diffrent affilates, I dont know...).

Spoiler:

And I think the beast-250$ is impossible on nl25, u should play at least nl50 for that (or you have to give up your complete life and play 16 hours/day poker^^...but even then its difficult, because u dont have 16 hours a day good traffic...).

Thank you so much for this chart, but it's a bit daunting to me and hard to understand. Like for instance what do the color codes mean? Among other things.

Also I realize it's a bit rudimentary, but the way I figured I might be able to qualify for the 250 amount is by comparing how many points I amassed yesterday, multiplying it by 7, and then comparing that number to last week's leaderboard. 1500x7 =10500, and the last 250 tier winner only amassed 8786.

Does that change things at all?

The colors are maybe the diffrents ranks, like Goldstar, Platinium, Supernova and SNE on stars in the past (acr use only diffrent military-rank-names for that), but I'm not sure.

And yes, with 10,5k points u should get easy the 250$ beast money, my rough calculation was, that you have to play around 900$ rake/week for the 250$ beast-price, thats around 130$ each day and I think that's impossible, with normal play on nl25. But maybe I'm wrong or I just underestinate your massgrinding skills.

I thought myself to play for the 250$ beast price but I'm not sure because of this ****ing bots and I made a short test and played 7 sessions this month on acr and every session I was running under ev. Ok, could be bad luck, but the odds to have 7 under EV sessions in a row are 1 to 128. Ok, no matter what u do, take care of this bots (with less bots, acr would be a dream, because software, vip-programm and support are really good), good luck

Perhaps try going to the website who created the chart for more of an explanation. That chart is but a part of a larger series of articles.
