Timeline:

1/1/18: I request a self-ban on all WPN skins for 6 months. I receive an email confirming that the ban has been implemented.

1/30/18: Download the True Poker skin. I see that I have access to play but decide against it at the time.

2/15/18: I receive an email saying that my account has been credited $5. I run this up to $30 over the next several days and get the itch to play again.

2/19/18: Deposit to True Poker and play some MTTs/PLO8. Down a few hundred but not a big issue.

2/21/18: Send support an email requesting to switch from beast to rakeback. I receive an email back saying that my account will be disabled due to my email on 1/1/18.

I know I am in the wrong for caving once they sent me the $5 and I got the itch again. It seems that they are also in the wrong for crediting my account $5 and accepting subsequent deposits to a disabled account before deciding to ban the True Poker account. Thoughts?

could for once WPN be proactive on it's TOS

I have seen countless threads about self bans that went unnoticed and allowed the problem gambler to keep gambling

If something as simple as a self ban can slip through the cracks then how can we be secure in believing other portions of TOS are followed

IDC if it was fixed after the fact this type of stuff is bad for the game.

Systems like this are put in place for a reason problem gambling is a serious issue and in fact is one of the hurdles of getting regulated online gaming in the US.

Reflects terribly on this website 2 plus 2 that they endorse by allowing advertising a network that can't even properly induce a self requested ban for problem gaming yet alone "a glitch" one of many so it seems that indices the problem gambler

shame on you WPN and again IDC what was done after the fact. Mental health is a real problem and when people in these spots have a moment of clarity to remove themselves from situations by following procedures put in place and they are not followed through on serious consequences could arise from that poor oversight. Thankfully this particular problem gambler did not sink to an ultimate low

Another thing: deselecting "Enable double-or-nothing on table exit" does not, in fact, disable it. Will WPN even pretend that this isn't a cynical feature masquerading as an oversight?
