Site Freezing with PT4 during sessions. Site Freezing with PT4 during sessions.

I just recently built a new computer and it is on the high end side. Although this has nothing to do with poker - the computer plays high end games lag free and boots up in about 5 seconds.

So the past week - I have been playing BCP with 4 - 6 tables going. I use PT4. Well about an hour into my session the site will just freeze and the only way to stop this is to just restart my computer and boot up the software again.

It has happened 3 times in the past 2 weeks but is very annoying if I am involved in a big hand as I am unable to act and will get timed out before I can restart the software. (it just happened today - but the past week it has not done it)

I seemed to have fixed it for now by going into PT4 and configuring the auto import of the hands using the wizard.

Has any one else experienced this? Basically the tables will just stop responding. Can't really seem to figure out why but i'm pretty sure it has something to do with PT4.

sick pc brag.

WPN has issues, some ppls clients mess up at times it seems. Mine does every now and then, usually im back within a minute though so its minuscule. I mean there has to be some reason 1 out of 8 players on the site is inactive #freemonies

Never had any issues with PT4 on BCP. No freezing issues since I upgraded to the latest version of IE on Windows 7.

I don't use PT4 but I used to have exactly that problem with HM2 on Merge. Whatever the problem was it seems to have been resolved. It must have been a problem with HM2. You might want to go to the PT4 forums and see if others are experiencing a similar problem.

ya i didn't ether on my older computer and that one was absolute ****. I am using windows 7 64 bit

I may have to reinstall PT4 or BCP or wait for an update as a file may of been corrupted. Any ways if it keeps happening i'll have to do something about it or it will keep costing me $$$
