What is your definition of dead? Thursday I was registering for anything from $3.30-$31.90 turbos and in 6 hours of play only got in about 90 games. Most of the time I couldn't get above 5 tables and only had 5 or less 90% of the time. This time of night you usually can't get more than 25 games from 12-5 AM.

Just this particular day. Regardless, SNG traffic across every variant has been dead. Just because HU SNG's weren't included is no reason to try to debate that obvious fact. I think they should have added a leaderboard for you too, but they didn't this month and hopefully will going forward. A traffic increase in one format will eventually help all formats. Plus there will be plenty of recs playing regular SNGs I'm sure. The regs trying to win the leaderboard know better though.

Yeah I agree. And I was actually going to deposit to play regular sng's(i played them before husngs). It isn't that I'm bitter about not having a husng leaderboard(i guess I'm bitter about reg games lol).

Was hoping I'd be able to load up 12+ regular sngs at the same time. Maybe the old days of FTP and Pokerstars spoiled my expectations.

I can't believe DONs, the worst form of poker, are so popular. The last time I played an sng they didn't even exist!

Well just had the client crash with 20 tables running and wouldnt let me log back in for over 10 minutes! Live chat obviously said it was my problem that I lost $200 being blinded out of games while the client would not let me back online regardless how many times I restarted it (the only thing chat could tell me to do) Great way to kick off this promo is to have the client freeze completely and not let me back in TWICE! I unregged the 2nd time it happened...this is pretty fkd up to not even acknowledge their awful software might be at fault here! If this keeps happening no one will have to worry about my presence on the leaderboard!

This is exactly what I was worried about. Anytime I've ever had this happen it's always my fault even when it is clearly theirs. I'm glad I have a few more days in NJ to watch and see what happens with this issue. That really sucks.

So...There were tournaments that I registered for shortly after 12:00 EST including some ONDemands for the reason of X more points for starting them. I did not receive any points for those.

Anyone else have this occur?

im glad i wasnt the only one, same thing happened to me. This software is extremely bad. I have 8 gigs of ram with an i7 processor. while on 30 tables i was using 3.5 gigs or ram and it still froze and or lagged extremely bad.

What's your other computers set up? Did that SN freeze too?

3.5 GB is a LOT of RAM for a poker site. It also uses a ton of CPU. Load up 20 tables on pokerstars and open your task manager. It doesn't use much resources at all. WPN is extremely resource intensive. I'm not an expert but I think they must be using some sloppy, inefficient, out dated code and applications. Hint: modern sites (2006 and newer) use SVG graphics for one thing.

Good thing my comp is up to par because it would be a nightmare trying to run this software on an older (otherwise perfectly stable) PC.

I am not sure how much volume will be needed for these to place on the leaderboard or get into a decent spot but I guess I will give it a go in the morning and play for 1-2 weeks and see where I end up and if its attainable to even get in the top tier. At least it wont cost any extra to find out,

Yea man I saw you sitting out A LOT tonight...im running a high end comp on a 100mgbs connection and can 30+ table everywhere else fine. I've had the client freeze multiple times tonight and the only way to fix it is to manually kill the process and restart it. It seems to want to crash when I hit 15+ tables...

I thought that I was having the same issue but I realized you dont get your points until the tournament ends. So I'd check again once the tourneys in question are over.

the first handful of tourneys that finished did not have the sncrush pop up showing me points..and one of them was a Demand tourney.

the others were Dons.

They began popping up the points I would say around 12:20-12:30 est.

idk if it's been brought up yet but why the f do the $15 non-turbo dons have the same rake as the turbos?

also, i love the fact that you can't filter by buyin (ascending or descending) in the lobby. just awesome!

They changed it a few days ago that all registering games go to the top. Which is nice, but the filters are pretty terrible in general on this site. Especially if you play MTTs and SNGs.

this **** is a mess. WPN needs to focus on upgrading software before focusing on these promos. as I've mentioned, I don't play at WPN, I do however like the table interface. I don't think that's the problem. I'm constantly hearing about bugs and other user misfortunes though, these need to be fixed. no reason the site should lag when running many tables with the PC that was described in this thread. please fix these issues WPN

Played in several 'On Demands' now. IMO the structure is a bit slow with many intermediate levels dragging it down.

played in some on demand tourneys and not being awarded race points is anybody else having same problem

why do standard 6 max turbos have 20 second time banks and turbo DoNs have 60 second?
