Resolution and Tiling Resolution and Tiling

I currently have a 15" laptop that has a max resolution of 1366 x 768. I can tile 4 tables without overlap if I move the task bar from the bottom to the left or right. I am looking to play more tables on a laptop or desktop.

What is the size of a WPN table? How far can they be scaled down? PokerStars and FullTilt tables were built to tile 2x2 800x560 tables perfectly on 1600x1200 (standard at the time) with space for taskbar at bottom. But now monitors are wide with many different aspect ratios.

What is the max number of tables with no overlap for a resolution of

1600 x 0900
1680 x 1050
1920 x 1080
1920 x 1200
2560 x 1080
2560 x 1440
2560 x 1600

Or put differently, what is the minimum resolution for 6 tabling with no overlap? How about 9 tabling? Do any of the current wide screens do 8 tabling with a 4 x 2 grid?

I am having similar issues multi tabling on a mac book pro 15 inch (1680 x1050). If I have 2 tables open they are already overlapping and tables don't resize easily (by dragging from the border).
Is there another way to resize tables? how many should I be able to have on such a mac?

Should I just be looking to connect with an external monitor?
