I think the fact that you needed to bump this thread twice shows that it is in fact dead. It's ok though your thread had a good run, it was on the first page a good two maybe three days. In fact if it wasn't for me this thread would show no signs of life at all but no need to thank me. It's time to move on though so just let it go ok.

Holdem cg are dead because of the slow nits, need turbo tables and need antes, PLO and NL

I'm at the point where I'm just saying **** NL on this site, it's pretty much worthless trying to play when you have 24 tablers at 2nl lol. PLO is still fun, but **** all the bull**** with NL and the beast.

There's still a lot of slow play at PLO tables too. Wouldn't hate antes and tables with far less time bank. Some of the mass multitablers using 60 seconds per hand to fold pre gets old real quick.

Ya that is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE issue. If I only play 4 tables of nl I'm guaranteed to have at least 2 tables where at least 1 person is timing down every hand. For a person that just plays for fun........ WHERE'S THE FUN AT ACR? At this point I wish there was some limit action as that would be a blast next to this silliness. I'd so love some mixed games, there are better ways to spend my leisure time then waiting around for slow players.

I'm curious how many losing players are turned off just cuz they wait around every hand for 1 player while they 1-2 tables cash games. That's kinda ****ed up from a customer service perspective if you think about it, I would not have my name on that ****ty of a product.

if they wanted to cut down on nittiness and people slowing the games down they'd get rid of this beast nonsense

In all fairness to op he is right that the games are slowed down to much and aren't that much fun to most players. Personally, I enjoy having mass tablers at my tables since I can exploit them and their sub optimal play not because they are bad players but because they just don't have time to think every hand through properly. Maybe an idea to explore might be not to limit total tables open but to set a max limit of tables per stake.

The beast gives a nice incentive to the willing.

If you're gonna have ante games they shouldn't be 100bb max, more like 250-300bb max.

I'd imagine it doesn't cater to some peoples play styles and will negatively impact their bottom line. Same reason to vote yes if it does.

And to whoever said ante's don't change the game, they change it considerably and not just because of the beast. Just in general that game changes some. Changes even more if deeper buy ins are not allowed. Or more it favors one play style for long term profit.
