You can click on the cashier tab and go to rewards and exchange your cp for money. At Lt. level it's 100 cp for $1.

On a related note, what are Player Points used for?

I've racked up thousands of these but they seem to be worthless. Is this correct? And if so, why do they even exist?

Player points can be exchanged for cash:

100pp= $1 and the higher you go the better rate.
4500=$50
25000=$300
100000=$1500
250000=$4000

All this information is in the Rewards section, points exchange

I just wasn't sure why they were even accumulating at all given they can't be used for anything.
