I can't claim to know what would work better for the types of players who would be attracted to Stud games, though I do think that if the daily ones were implemented and cancelled, that would be a far worse result than a weekly one being the only thing that happens. So maybe once a week would be better, even if players like me would skip due to focusing on whatever else we're playing, perhaps others would be happy to have a Stud8 game once a week they can rely on to run.

In any case, I hope Stud8 MTTs get into the mix somehow. Having variety is good, and it's fun to do something other than NLHE once in a while.

The new 5k 2,20$ has a terrible structure. Just copy stars saturdays splash 2,20$ 3x turbo structure and understand that this needs a gtd of at least 15k to make sense.

I dont think you have to copy the late reg period but my point is that this unique type of tournaments only get big if the gtd is big. For 5k people dont go crazy but for 15 or 20k you have guys rebuying 100$.

Ok just FYI... I had many times tried this structure, the exact same as stars and the tournaments were pathetic. I know headcount is way different now but i have a ridic structure and it seems that the majority like it.

If something isnt broken i will not fix it.

Is there a 1% chance that the tourneys you tried were pathetic cause the gtd was pathetic? It was like 1k gtd for the 1.10$ + r 3 x turbo. Who cares to play this for chump change? Its all about the gtdīs imo. Cheers

a bigger gtd would be nice but for now id rather see it become a stand alone mtt with a unique name rather than being apart of the saturday 12 pack. Find a way to incorporate billions into the name because so far that is the highlight of the tourney- a billion+ chips in play. i think adding some novelty to it early on will help generate more attention without having to raise the gtd!

because ill be honest. i was playing to win and also win a billion chip pot lol.

Do you know stars dont do them anymore. I agree when they were $1 for 40k GTD i used to play them.

They are 10x as big as us. R/A's IMO is a dieing format. Its good for the once in a while tournament.
