Hey question.....

My brother just got a tablet that has Windows 8. So would I be able to download Americas Cardroom on it and/or Black Chip Poker. I don't wanna play any other Poker software on the tablet just WPN (ACR/BCP)...Thanks!

Can I download the software and play poker on the tablet without any issues? LMK please before I decide to purchase my own. Its cheap its like $140. Great deal. Like 10'' Screen. I think it looks great.

I asked the guy if I can download poker at Walmart and he said yea but just making sure. The only reason I'd buy it is if I can play poker on it on WPN (ACR/BCP) If I cant, then I don't want to get the tablet....So please LMK ASAP Thanks!

Its a "nextbook Quad-Core Windows 8.1 Tablet"

So please if anyone here is good with this sh*t and knows please LMK....

PM or Msg me ITT. TYTY

Thanks!

You can play poker on it. You can run any windows 8 supported programs. I have played poker on my Dell Venue Pro 8 but more resource intensive things like HM2 might not run well on a tablet.

1) The "Sitting Out" should still show the player's name.

2) Make it so when a player types in the chat that it comes up as green or blue or something so it's more noticeable. The whole chat is just terrible honestly. It's tiny and every action is documented in it, making it hard to track prior pots but mostly when a player talks.

3) Is there a way to make the tournament tab not pop up another entire lobby?
+1

And for ****'s sake, is it really not possible to change the time zone in the client? Can I just see accurate times for tourneys, please? And stuck on 24hr format in time at bottom right of client...most "Americans" use 12hr, fyi

somebody tell me I'm missing something plz

thanks

+1 to these too, the sit out thing has been mentioned a lot as well as it's way of confusing people between hands as to whether or not a person is sitting out. Really needs to be fixed cuz I'm a table starter all the time and there are a ton of times I'm heads up and a player or 2 sitting out can have me confused as to whats going on and can effect my decision to stay or go if I have to many tables going.

The tourney lobby is a big deal too, I have a 30" and only 4 table at the moment and with the individual tourny lobbies out, the main tourny lobby and the cash game lobby up that's just a lot of random **** to manage/ monitor real estate being eaten up. 1 less thing makes it easier to manage all the lobbies, tables and windows I have open.

I heard the CEO say he shamelessly copied some of Pokerstars features on a twitch stream because he said it worked. Which is fine. So with that said:

Can you (or do they already have this?) implement a feature to block you from playing higher than your bankroll will allow

How about changing the chat messages by default so they aren't the same color as the dealer chat? Light blue or something easy to read. I think it can be changed in XML, but it's hard to read and impossible with more than one table, even with the big side chat up. Better yet change observer chat to a whole new color also.

1) If villain goes to showdown, we should be able to see what hand they had.

2) Extend time bank in cash games.
2a) Have an auto-timebank option in cash games.

3) Either extend the time to add-on or have an obvious pop-up feature in tournaments where they have add-ons. More than one occasion where it was a last minute decision for me and didn't want to click 'auto add-on.'

4) Fix the consistent lag issues.

1. That's Debatable, on PS you could see the showdowns but many people don't like that either. As much as it sucks to not know, if you are last to act I don't think a mucked hand should show unless they want it to.

3. Yeah, that is really annoying.

Hardly debatable. It is the rules of poker, if I pay all the way to showdown I have the right to see your superior/inferior holdings. I understand if it was B&M etiqutte, but this is a far different entity.

Although this is generally the rule, each site/home game/casino, etc. can have it's own rules. I personally actually like the rules as they are, but I know I'm in the minority, at least as far as far as people who have posted on these forums.

Take this as you will cause I'm not a live expert in rules but I thought that applied to all in's not I call you on the river and we both show cards(showdown). I always muck if I'm last at my casino. They can request to see them, But it's always perceived as jerky.

When I'm multitabling and on multiple timebanks, once I finish my turn WPN will still make the timebank sound every 15 to 20 seconds, even when there is no action on any table. It goes on until I close entirely out of the site and then reopen, but this has made me quit my session at least twice today and multiple times this past month. Please find a way to fix this

You can try putting a different audio file in the time bank countdown, maybe it's corrupt, or just delete that audio file and it should re-download. Other than that I do not know, I've never had that, but I use custom sounds.

This happened to me last night after the servers were laggy and they had to pause my cash game tables, decided to just end the session early

Request: Have the BCP client recognize your default browser setting like Bovada/Carbon do. Right now everything goes through IE which causes problems (naturally). XP users are being left in the dust on BCP.

For more information check out my post in this other thread:

I'm afraid that the code has to be different for different browsers, hence poker rooms have traditionally been using IE as the browser to run scripts in order to make software development easier, partly because IE is installed by default in all Windows systems, while other browsers might be missing on players' computers.

An alternative is using a Chromium browser built into the client like Pokerstars do, but it's rather slow and buggy there.

Can we get some table starting software like stars? Something where u can set it to pos blinds when a 3rd player sits. Seems like no one wants to play heads up but if 2 people are playing a table fill up quick. A table starter would get lots of tables started imo.

Can we get a better note taking system like pokerstars with color coding and all that? Also, right click to get to player notes is very inconvenient when multitabling.

Also some personalized avatars or uploaded pictures like other sites would really liven up the site for the recreational players imo. Right now, the tables just have no personalities to them and I think thats really off putting to recs.
