Really annoying when a table pops up with an under the gun minraise and you're unsure if it was just a raise or a straddle.
Should be in the chat history. Kind isle annoying having to check that everytime though.

Is this software out yet?

[edit]

Nevermind, I see that this version is out now.

Has any1 been having computer problems since the site messed up???

I play 10 to 12 tables. I tile them in stacks of 4 or 5. When I start to take notes on someone, the box pops open in the top left. Before I can finish a note, I usually have to make a decision on a table. When a table needs action, it pops to the top of a stack. When I do finish a note, the table with that player comes to the front. Stop it!

If I need to act on a table, but complete a note while a table is waiting, the table needing action gets buried when the note-table pops to the front.

When finishing a note, the table that needs a decision the soonest should stay on top.

Stop crashing would be a nice start. I'd take the pig that rolled out of bed right now without the lipstick over this mess.

This happens to me since, well, forever. It eventually freezes and has to be closed.

I don't understand how anybody can tile 4 of these tables. Don't you go blind? Every so often I'll hook the laptop up to my TV (42" w/1920x1080 res) and it's still blurry as ****. I love this software almost as much as I loved FT.. but man when it comes to tiling 3 or more I can't see ****.

ACR can't you make each player's dollar amount just A TAD BIGGER?

Playing a tournament, getting close to the money. According to the lobby there are 42 players left, but in reality there are 47. Luckily I did not shove with a marginal hand trying to steal blinds when the lobby said 45 players left, because I would have busted 50th, out of the money. I guess I could add up the players on each table, but silly me, I assumed the lobby would be correct.

This is not the first time I have noticed this. After the server issues last week, I took all my money off the site, I am just playing with tourney bucks I bought with left over CP's.

Have to ask, isn't that a WPN table in the background? If so how did you get that theme? I WANT IT!

This count problem happens a good bit, I've been having lobbies completely freeze and have to get friends on Skype tell me how many are left, so tilting and so annoying.

you need a pot button and an all in button at the same time......you need to be able to navigate to the tournament lobby from the table......the history should be just one snapshot of the resolved table like merge.......you need to implement resizing of the table and leaving it as default.......thanks......frank

It is a WPN theme currently available on the ACR skin. Pretty sure BCP is supposed to have this as well although from what I've read on here it's not available yet.

Has PT4 released anything so that HUDs can now position themselves correctly now that WPN has preferred seating?

According to the PT rep over in the software forum, they have a rather large update coming soon that will be including this. He said they have an internal release date, but not a public one at this time.

On a semi-related note, there is scheduled downtime tonight for WPN. Anybody have any idea whether this is to work on the the server/provider issues, or are they updating the actual software further? I should have asked pablo while I had him on Chat support, but I forgot and don't want to waste their time with something that might be answered through this forum.

Thanks for the information.

How about allowing people to adjust the buttons, like instead of just being 1/3,1/2 and 2/3 pot, you can adjust it, and instead of being 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x you can make a 2.5x button yourself. Seem like pretty simple changes, and it'd make things a lot easier for a lot of us.

I know I prefer to bet 2.5x early on and I like 2.2x later, but right now I find myself just betting 3x early and 2x later.

One of the features I like best about the new software is the replayer. The problem though is that the replayer can't be resized. So when I open it, it takes up almost my entire computer screen and covers the games I'm playing.

I 100% agree pig and all...but just taking a step back and looking at everything, even with the stupidity as of late WPN has tried to keep their integrity intact. At least by still having the balls to keep their forum active and answering questions fairly quick, not like some of these other sketch sites (i.e Lock for just disappearing & Merge for moving whatever).

Bottom line...WPN is not Pokerstars or Full Tilt by any means, but they have at least made strides at moving in the right direction unlike these other clown shoe sites

Appreciate the words ShoMeURTilts, we are doing the best that we can, the past 2 weeks was one of those weeks where if anything could go wrong, it would go wrong for us that in the end affected players far too much.

I apologies for it all and would a million times over, trust me, these issues left me with very little sleep over the last 2 weeks.

the majority of problems were outside our control, in that it was not our actual software or our actual servers, but the result of those issues did bring up some issues in our software in the end which many of you had now seen and had to deal with (having to redo tournaments and so on)

I can assure you, they are all being worked on to prevent from happening again.

The release was a scheduled software release that had been planned prior to our "unscheduled" down time week.

Can you specify what exactly was - and was not - within your control, so that we have a better understanding of what is being worked on to prevent this from happening again?

The way I'm reading your post it sounds like in one breath you're telling us you didn't control the majority of the problems, but in the next you're telling us you're working on this never "happening again." Thus, it is only logical to deduce that in order for this to never happen again, you must have some control over what happened in the first place, otherwise it's an empty promise.

all points valid LD...the quick replies from them are nice but if it's all airfluffer then we will have to keep lighting them up like a Xmas tree till they disappear (i.e Lock). NEED LEGIT ANSWERS.

I hear your frustration and totally understand as I have wasted a bunch of time and $ in mtt's when then the whole server garbage freezes. Yea they refunded blahblah, but its still unacceptable.

FWIW on the whole I haven't really experienced the software issues that you are having with the buttons and screens freezing, but I don't play the SNGs or the HU SNGs. I play mtts and a lil cash games. Besides server freezes and the occasional blinds jumping in the mtts, I can't really complain.

No problem. Just don't leave me and the community hanging in the dark with empty replies. Give us something. Maybe Costa Rican monkeys destroyed your routers during all that madness. Something more then "we're working on it" or "it's outside our control". Those replies ring hollow to most. Hopefully things are on the up and up.

Yeah I'm starting to realize (I could be totally off base) that cash players haven't experienced the laggy/glitchy issues as bad as SNG players. Also, cash game players lose the pot that is in play when the servers go down. SNG/MTT'ers lose the game, have to ask for refunds, monitor the situation and are frustrated if they built up a lot of equity in the game. I'm not trying to discount cash game players by any means, but in another thread here I kind of gained some perspective of what's gone on with different people and different formats played and how that may, or may not elevate levels of frustration.

I'm not trying to get on the bash WPN bandwagon either. We're all frustrated, but we know there are some good qualities of WPN. My concern in the response to WPN-IT is that the promises feel a bit Lock-esque, but it could easily be a misunderstanding because of the wording of his post.
