Furthermore, this is 100% common at online poker and gambling sites. Even the precious PokerStars has a policy like this.

You've read the fine print of every poker site before depositing your first time right?

If this is the wrong thread I apologize. I was trying to deposit on ACR today and was having no luck with a Visa gift card that I'd used before to deposit on another site. So I decided to call the "live help" which is usually a mistake and this time didn't improve my average.
Anyway, after waiting and waiting for 20 minutes with the rep saying 3 minutes he finally came back on and said ".The company had denied the charges and I should call them, try another card or use the card to buy bitcoin and deposit those" soI called the CC company and they told me that my CC showed no access activity, basicly nobody had tried to get any money from it, as we were still on the chat window I asked the guy about that and he finally came back and said that it could be used tomorrow and when I questioned that he finally admitted that it was ACRs system that had locked it down, not the CC. Why wouldn't he just tell me that the ACR deposit system sucks instead of lying and telling me the CC company denied stuff?

I really hate being lied to

I'm looking to withdraw from BCP, but I've never dealt with bitcoins. I believe I need to open an account on an exchange, and link that account to my bank account. Then once that is setup I can provide BCP with my bitcoin address. Then from there I can sell the btc on the exchange and have the USD deposited into my bank account.

Is that the correct process? What exchange should I deal with (I hear Coinbase and Bitstamp)?

I'm not interested in holding onto the btc at this time, but instead just want to transfer it into usd and have it in my bank account as soon as possible.

YouTube Bitcoin Deposit/Withdraw- WPN or Bovada/Ignition. Substitute Coinbase for Circle. You must have a personal wallet to act as a buffer between poker site and exchange. Many use Blockchain. Exchanges are financial concerns regulated by U.S. law. If determined you have sent/received funds from a gambling site, your account is subject to closure. Hence, your buffer wallet.

Tried a Bitcoin deposit today, up it to about 182sat. Expensive and still not even one confirm over a hour. I wish WPN would use Litecoin. It was fast less fees.

Also, people change cards for other reasons, such as a lower interest rate, frequent flier miles, etc.
What does this mean exactly? Does it just mean that in order to access other methods you would need to first withdraw using ANY debit/card, or only back to the cards you used to deposit? This would be a problem as I've deposited a few times in the past using prepaid visas that I no longer have access to. Would I be unable to withdraw any funds???

Cross posting this for a friend that is unable to PM. She had a check bounced and needs some help with it.

Hello,
My bank returned my recent withdrawl via check. They said their processor was flagged as an online gambling company that issued the check. I emailed the proof to support a few minutes ago. Please expedite this process as I will attempt bitcoin withdrawl. I was advised on discord chat group that I would be able to reach excellent customer service via this board to help further this process along.

Thanks.

You could answer here or PM me directly, send no direct personal info on them please, and I can relay or if you are able to turn their PMs on so you can reach out directly that would work.

I highly suggest private messaging one of the WPN reps with this issue. I'd also recommend PM'ing Mike Haven or Bobo Fett and ask them to enable PMs for your friend so that she can communicate directly with the WPN Rep.

This does not belong in this thread. What makes you think the cashout thread is the appropriate place to post this?

If you used a prepaid card, obviously they can not refund to that. Contact support and they will explain your options. Or just try the cashier, you migh be able to withdraw to other methods already. I assure you your funds do not become unrecoverable... that's not how business works.

There are hundreds of btc withdrawals in this thread and in the btc thread in the main sub (check the sticky at the top). Nothing has changed. BTC still works well.

Clear cookies and cache in Internet Explorer. Reboot your computer. That typically fixes it.

I don't think recommending people to use the same btc address at Circle, where they explicitly stopped allowing btc transactions, is a good idea. It not only ruins the privacy aspect of using bitcoin, but it probably endangers the person who is surreptitiously circumventing Circle's rules.

When a site's page says that you can deposit as little as $50, but that same page doesn't tell you that the minimum withdrawal is more than more than $50, that's just not right.

Players are not told at the beginning that there is a fee or a minimum balance for cashing out and they probably don't know what rakeback is. A few years ago I deposited $50 on Juicy Stakes Poker, only to find out later that the minimum withdrawal was $500. I just wanted to try out the site. I couldn't believe it when support told me that. That information might be available, but it wasn't on the page that told me what the minimum deposit was.

Think about someone playing online for the first time. John is excited about giving it a try and puts some money down. As we all know, most players aren't winners, so it's likely that John will never do well enough to be able to cash out.

How many people like John are out there, people who will never trust online poker again? That is not good for John, it's not good for the poker community and it shouldn't be legal.
I don't think anyone is stealing from anyone in your analogy. It doesn't cost $50 to withdraw from Juicy Stakes if you put in a tiny amount of rake each month, it's free.

We as consumers can't expect sites to act as de facto banks for us. And they won't, that is evident. Maybe in the future if everything is crypto and transaction fees are nil... support bitcoin (or bitcoin cash)

I recommend the bitpay card. I have pointed out Circle did/does have a loophole, and how I used it. But, what does that have to do with the post you're quoting?

Seems shady AF, sent CS an email and they told me to wait until it switches from Pending to Posted to ask about getting a refund, obv just hoping I'm going to forget about it as a last ditch effort...

call your credit card and if they say that it isnt a cash advance fee then dispute the difference and theyll credit you

How long do neteller and skrill withdraw take?

If you deposit with neteller or skrill, can you withdraw via bitcoin? If you deposit with bitcoin, can you withdraw with neteller or skrill? Or do you have to withdraw with the last method that you used to deposit? I ask this because i played on a bookmaker skin called betcris and they told me because my last deposit was a tiny deposit with neteller, my only option was withdraw via neteller. Thus i could not withdraw bitcoin.

Can someone here confirm if this is true with acr or bcp etc? Or it might be just betcris? The thing is they use the same cashier so im curious about this.

When You deposit BTC You can cashout to Skrill or NET. When You deposit Skrill/Net, You have to cashout initial deposit amount back.
