I have had multiple skrill withdrawals canceled after waiting 2 weeks each. Support said to use bitcoin as it was faster. Withdrew via bitcoin to have it canceled after 5 days saying only skrill is available to withdraw. Started a skrill withdrawal 12 days ago and got this email:

1.In order to proceed with your payment, for security and verification purposes, we require you to cash out through the same method you have used to deposit: Skrill

Um, ok......

I have used skrill, btc and neteller for multiple deposits and withdrawals over the last 4 years with no problems till now.

I requested a payout from ACR via bank draft method a couple weeks ago and my check arrived in the mail 6 days later. The check was declined at my bank's atm but honored when I went inside and had a teller handle the transaction.

Thoroughly enjoyed the post until you said no problems with withdrawals in the past and then in your edit indicated this was BCP. The rest is great stuff, though.

I think this is relevant to this post, as well as to these cashier threads in general, but I expect a mod to delete it or split it off when they disagree.

Everyone I have talked to in mid-major US Banks not only "wants" but has it as part of their corporate plan to completely eliminate tellers. To be fair, though, the guys at Washington Mutual were telling me this when I had them as clients in 2005 and I told them that they'd be out of business before they could make that happen.

BUT, people said for YEARS that "passbook banking" would NEVER go away as long as little old ladies want to use it to balance their checkbooks at the bank. Yet, it is pretty much dead. So it seems anything is possible.

Bee of A already uses centralized tellers via video and they cash these checks with no problem.

Stopped using them as "my" bank a while ago, but have cashed "their" checks in their location by me as recently as maybe 7-8 months ago and they had a row of tellers then.

Also, just did a quick job search on their site and there are nearly 1000 postings for tellers in the US.

But I did also notice that B of A Teller Picket was an option that I could've searched google for but opted not to. I guess I don't understand what you're trying to describe to me. And so I'm clear, I have an MBA in Finance and have worked in banking, so I'm pretty much good to go on the basics, and I can "guess" what you're suggesting, I just can't find it online to clear up my confusion.

Can you elaborate and maybe dumb it down for me, since I do not follow?

What I'm describing to you is that they are already phasing out tellers at individual banks in favor of video tellers from a central location. If you go to that bank after 4 PM in many locations you don't get a real teller, you get a video one, and you can cash checks just fine that way.

The teller is a long way from being phased out as a whole, these checks will be fine for many years to come. I would think most banks would follow this route before they decided to just have you cash checks via ATM or your cell phone.

Cool plug that you have a MBA, not sure what relevance that has to the conversation.
