I've just started making cashouts from ACR and am discovering all sorts of rules I was unaware of. I'm opting for the check method, witha $65 fee, and I see there is a $3000 limit - and 1 time per week. I was also told that you can't withdraw within 3 days of your last deposit. Also, the 10% rake requirement.

So, what if I win $175000 in a big tourney. At 3k per week that would take forever and I'd have to be playing constantly to meet the rake requierement. I hope I am mis-interpreting things and it is easier than this to cash out large sums?? Everything seems designed to keep cashouts slow and cumbersome.

So in other words if we don't want to get involved with the whole crazy complex -- needing lots of studying and time -- bitcoin scene, big money winners are screwed? But the rake requirement still applies even using bitcoin. So bitcoin ain't the be all end all you say, and your answer is insufficient.

The 10% rake is on your deposit amount not the winnings.

Whew. what a misconception I had. On just the deposit is no biggie. On the winnings would be major.

Yeah. That and the 3 day wait are pretty standard a lot of places. Think of it like this. If they had no take requirement and you could cash out right away, you could just deposit with your card - which costs them money to accept - and then cashout to bitcoin at whatever the bitcoin market price is instead of paying the markups from various exchanges. So does it suck a little of you deposit $300 and win 10k that day that you have wait a few days to cash out? Yeah it sucks a little but not too much, especially with how quickly they do cashouts.

P.S. - learn Bitcoin. It's not hard at all, quick, and free. Plus no risk of a processor closing the account and your check bouncing.

That may have to do with an unconfirmed transaction. The last I checked there were over 170k unconfirmed transactions on the Blockchain. I recommend upping miner fees in the future to prevent this.. I have made this mistake 3 times in the past week and have waited and unfortunately made others way over 36 hours to officially confirm transactions

I would suggest that you get one of those bills in your name. I don't know what the family situation is or how long you are staying there, but you might want to get an agreement in writing about who is actually going to pay that bill and for how long. Then you can show the agreement to Judge Judy if there is a disagreement later about who is supposed to be paying the bill.

Can someone help, depositing with bitcoin isn't working for me. ACR sends me email to buy from CoinMama, well CoinMama doesn't service my area. I'm in CT, USA. Circle no longer works as well, as you can't send to a bitcoin address from there. So how do I buy bitcoin and then deposit to ACR?

Guessing you don't have a bank account to link to Coinbase.

I requested BTC on Wednesday around noon and had the transaction sent to my coinbase by 1pm on Friday. Only problem is it still hasn't confirmed. Either they sent it with a really low fee or the network is just overloaded. Pretty awesome that the market has been tanking though...I've already lost $500 in value since they sent it

The network is overloaded. Last week 120 satoshis per byte would get a reasonably quick confirmation. Earlier this week it needed to be 180.
Now it's 390. You can see fees and estimated confirmation time here:

https://bitcoinfees.21.co

Also if you are ever waiting on a transaction, just send those unconfirmed coins to another address of yours with a higher fee. That will get both transactions confirmed. It is called child pays for parent. Or if you don't want to send it anywhere else you can use the viabtc transaction accelerator.

I can't see the fee that was sent with it. Also coinbase doesn't allow me to send it until it's confirmed

You sent straight from acr to conbase?

To see the fee go to blovkchain and enter the transaction id. It will show the details of the transaction.
