The Beast is just a disaster for everybody except a handful of mass tabling rakeback grinders. Bad for the serious as well as casual players. It's impossible to beat the rake and drop in these games. The only winners are the ones grinding enough to see a top prize from The Beast.

We need to make it clear that we won't accept a "promotion" that ensures the only way to show a profit from playing poker is to win the promotion.

It's time to SLAY THE BEAST.

At the end of the current Beast period, we should collectively stop playing on Beast tables and move to the regular, non-JP tables. Start games, and keep them running. Provide an alternative for casual players and anyone wanting a chance to even hold their own against the rake.

It won't take long to starve The Beast and the parasites it carries.

I am personally pledging to NEVER play on a JP table again, starting 12:00 AM on October 16. Who's with me?

I think I will be joining you. Not because I am anti-beast tables, people can play whatever games they choose. I simply just don't grind enough to make it worth my while. I can make more with RB just breaking even at the regular tables than I can with whatever spot I am going to get during this beast period.

I've never played a table which had a contribution to The Beast, and never will.

I try to not play at Beast tables, but they are few and far between. I try to start new tables, but people don't sit.

I'm totally on board with this plan.

I would start today... Right now, even... But I'm forced to continue playing if I want to maintain my beast award. And I have to get something back for the exorbitant rake that I've already paid.

Can't wait for the 16th.
