Dude just stop it ok. Don't tell me you didn't know they stopped taking for the jackpot rake on the BBJ tables. Therefore I am paying the same rake as regular tables with the chance to score the jackpot. Why more players are not taking advantage of this is beyond me.

They are not a freeroll. The rake is the same as before. They removed the BBJ rake and increased the Beast rake. So unless you are one of the few players who make money of The Beast (and then you are probably teamplaying or botting anyway) it is not a freeroll.

They really need to get rid of The Beast too.

If you are playing the .$05/.10 tables, you are probably correct.

They won't reach the 15k cap ever. So nothing changed with the Beast.

I did say probably. I think there is sufficient evidence from the Dult threads that allows for my loose use of the word probably in that sentence. If you would like I'll retract my previous statement and replace it with:

The point is:
This promotion is insanely top heavy, rewards only those who put in ridiculous volume (regardless of how they put it in), kills off the fish much quicker (and they won't see a dime back), and 10% of the funds that are taken in for The Beast are never seen by the players (even those who put in the aforementioned insane volume).

never claimed to be a big winner at the beast tables *******. And yes there is no rake taken from the tables I play.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but seems they are screwing people on the beast tournament package jackpot.

The tournament package jackpot was 44,235 last month. There are 10 packages being rewarded in the tourney tomorrow. So 10 x $4100 = $41,000. Where's the other $3,235 going? Also, tournament says unlimited rebuys for 1st two levels do the rebuys get tacked onto the prizepool?

There's a decent chance I'm just looking at it completely wrong so maybe someone else can double check to make sure they aren't skimming off it.

If the punta cana package is worth $4100, then there wasn't enough money in the prizepool for an 11th seat when you posted this. I've never seen a satellite where the excess money did not go to 11th, 12th, 13th place, etc (when there's 10 packages). I'm sure that's what will happen.

what a dumpster fire, WPN. just wanted to let you know by expanding the beast you're not making the site any more inviting. its the opposite, actually. being a US grinder I have to spread my action across a minimum of 3 sites. this ensures that unless I want to be a huge rakeback whore and target your Beast promo specifically, I'm hardly ever sitting your games because I can always find better games where I have a higher bb/100 on other sites due to your added Beast rake. in fact, you're turning myself, someone who has few qualms about sitting most industry standard raked tables at my limits, into a bumhunter. I only play your Beast tables when a huge spot is sitting and other than that I just sit your non-Beast HU tables and bumhunt. regular non-Beast tables don't get off the ground often enough and when they do they break at a ridiculously quick rate so I have little incentive to give your lobby any true effort other than sitting a couple tables and bumhunting! if you would look at your lobby for 10 seconds you will plainly see I'm not the only one acting in this manner.

in the end we all play a couple thousand hands a month on your site. when we do play, because a lot of us are bumhunting, we're sucking money out of your player pool at 15+bb/100. in essence you've created the worst possible atmosphere of all the sites for both the fish and non mega grinding regs. basically the rakeback whores pass pots back and forth, the bumhunters hunt, the fish get slaughtered by both the bumhunters and the rake really really quickly, and you get your extra 2% while creating a **** atmosphere. good job, good effort...

about sums it up. pretty much have the same 4-5 nit rakeback regs at all tables.

I know for the main beast they roll over a percentage to seed next months beast. I'm guessing this would be the case with the beast tourney funds as well.

Also I'm guessing there is some sort of rake that is taken too. Cause out of the 55 seat you receive only 50 of is supposed to go to the prize pool. So basically its almost triple raked cause they take 10 percent out the beast (or they did as recently as a couple month ago) then you get raked on the punta cana satty, then if you win the seat, the value of the package includes the rake for the tourney. BUT........................ More often than not with these packages they end up losing quite a bit of money so it's hard to complain about the rake. They site basically does this as a promotion and not really cause they wanna find new and creative rake you.

Well then you need some lessons in reading comprehension. I'll stop derailing this thread now.

My original point stands:
- The Beast only rewards a handful of people that put in crazy volume.
- The rest of the players pay into it, but rarely see a return.
- It kills off fish much quicker than normal rake and they definetly won't see any return.
- It probably encourages team play and botting.

This is why I don't play. I'm not playing on a site where I know I'm paying extra rake to a few other players. The whole concept is ridiculous.
