Since most mods consist of image files, you can host them on an image hosting site like imgur.com or something similar and link them here. This seems like the place where the most WPN players will see them.

You can drag and drop images on http://prntscr.com/ to quickly upload (images are hosted at imgur.com, afaik).

Not sure what the good free hosting sites are now for things like zip files.

This mod is to change the player tags in the notes folder. These new tags have a little more color variety and are much easier to differentiate at smaller table sizes. I tested them on Windows 7 with Americas Cardroom and they are working fine for me.
sweet that worked, but i had to change the PNG to BMPs. Also I think I might tinker with the notes to correspond to the old colors, my old red notes are now purple, etc. But hell yeah these are way better, and through this I figure out how to change the elements I think. thanks!

Good point. You can actually rename these to put the colors in any order you choose. I tried to just keep it simple for people that are new to mods. But once you start tinkering with it you probably figure it out on your own.

New cards work wonderfully!!Thank you so much for the help on getting them implemented. My eyes are a lot less strained with the green cards.

C'mon WPN, this is literally a simple thing to do....how has this not been accomplished yet?

It would indeed be nice to have more customization options within the BCP client itself.

yeah It would be cool if WPN had a mod page where people could make mods and they could show up as an option. Kinda like Chrome Store has themes etc that you can download. Would be a cool fun idea, I sure people would like.
if they were really smart they could sell them for FPPs and incentivize makers of mods by give them some of the kickbacks. That would get the guys that could really do some cool stuff to make some mods (as opposed to hacks like me) It would certainly Up the ante for the mods and would prob give the players some cool options.

+1 - This is exactly what I'm thinking. They could set up a sort of mod shop for player.

Didn't know you could download

I think this is an amazing idea! But I also think there is close to a 0% chance it happens on WPN. It's far more likely a company like pokerstars would do something like this. The reason being that there are so many other priorities on WPN that need to be addressed with the software before they ever start thinking about something like this. I know, I've suggested in this very thread that they make mods easier, but I doubt it will happen.

With that said, it appears it is up to us, the players to do something about it. So rather than making this another complain thread lets start posting more mods.

Here's my latest card back conversion. They can go with any card front you have but are the same theme as those posted by OP and originally created by Nero1877 for Full Tilt Poker http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45...l#post20208068

Just right click each image and click "Save Image As". Save in the following directory:
\AmericasCardroom\images\game\themes\back\set3

When asked if you want to replace the existing file with the same name, click "yes" or "ok" or whatever it happens to be. I'm saving mine as .png files but for some people apparently only .bmp files work so you may have to make this adjustment depending on your individual experience. Make sure you use the file names that correspond to each image i.e. Set 1, Set 5, Set 10, etc.

I put mine in the "set3" folder and it replaces the existing set. You can put it in any of the "setx" folders you choose, depending on which you want to replace.

FWIW I'm hosting my images on www.imgur.com. It's pretty easy to use and free.

I was also working on a PStars chipset mod mod, and it didnt go that well, but reversed the current WPN set to look like this in the meantime.

bump. Getting the 4 cards to work:

Running into an issue when I close the client and reopen. When I click close to disregard updates, I am getting this message:

Everytime I do not click close, the update happens and I have to replace the images again.

Would love to be able to get the player note icons to work, those things drive me crazy.

Their modded cards by default look good, except they really need green clubs. Confusing.

I tried to replicate this problem as you described by opening, closing then reopening the client and clicking "close" on the update window. I wasn't able to.

My only guess is that maybe the client process isn't ending when you close the client. If you open task manager and go to the "Processes" tab while your poker client is open you will see it in the list of processes currently running. When you close the poker client it should disappear from the processes list. If it is still in the list after you've closed the client then right click on it in the list and click "end process" then again in the confirmation pop up.

As for the note icons, have you tried saving them as BMP files rather than PNG? This worked for another poster in the thread.

Sorry I don't have very good answers for you but maybe someone else has had a similar experience and can help.

If all else fails maybe try uninstalling then reinstalling the client.

Seem like blackchip should have same options as the others.

After receiving dozens of requests for WPN table mods, I've finally gotten around to it. For more information, visit my website, email me, or shoot me a PM.
