if they were really smart they could sell them for FPPs and incentivize makers of mods by give them some of the kickbacks. That would get the guys that could really do some cool stuff to make some mods (as opposed to hacks like me) It would certainly Up the ante for the mods and would prob give the players some cool options.
I think this is an amazing idea! But I also think there is close to a 0% chance it happens on WPN. It's far more likely a company like pokerstars would do something like this. The reason being that there are so many other priorities on WPN that need to be addressed with the software before they ever start thinking about something like this. I know, I've suggested in this very thread that they make mods easier, but I doubt it will happen.
With that said, it appears it is up to us, the players to do something about it. So rather than making this another complain thread lets start posting more mods.

Here's my latest card back conversion. They can go with any card front you have but are the same theme as those posted by OP and originally created by Nero1877 for Full Tilt Poker

Just right click each image and click "Save Image As". Save in the following directory:
\AmericasCardroom\images\game\themes\back\set3
When asked if you want to replace the existing file with the same name, click "yes" or "ok" or whatever it happens to be. I'm saving mine as .png files but for some people apparently only .bmp files work so you may have to make this adjustment depending on your individual experience. Make sure you use the file names that correspond to each image i.e. Set 1, Set 5, Set 10, etc.
I put mine in the "set3" folder and it replaces the existing set. You can put it in any of the "setx" folders you choose, depending on which you want to replace.
FWIW I'm hosting my images on
www.imgur.com. It's pretty easy to use and free.
