Let me be the first one to say that I am typically very skeptical when people bring this kind of stuff up but after doing a little research this is pretty black and white to me. I have been playing the On Demand Freerolls on ACR for quite some time now. I have a good feel for who the regulars are that play them and those who frequently finish in the top 10. Typically, top 10 on the freeroll leader board is between 25-50 pts, with 50 pts being a really sick week with with lots of run good. So when the leader board exploded last week with a lot of players i have never heard of before i did a little investigating on sharkscope and uncovered what i believe to be a massive multi-accounting bot ring. I only spent a few hours digging into it but uncovered more than enough evidence to prove there are some serious dbags out there. Below are the key points i found along with pictures and summary spreadsheet of all the data. I haven't dug into their PT4 stats but i would bet a lot of money they are "strangely" similar. I only looked at the top 30 or so from last weeks leader board but I am sure that if you went down even further on it there are probably a lot more of these accounts.

Winning_TD... please look into this and pass onto the proper people. Please keep us up to date on what is being done about this and what your findings are. Thank you


Evidence this is all the same person/group

1) All of these accounts are new. All the ones i looked up are the same age, created around the same time (last week or so), with similar number of games played

2) All of these accounts are from random countries, almost all of which are unique countries

3) The majority of these accounts play a $6 HUSNG or $2 HUSNG once they get enough money from freerolls. These are not very common games to play for new players/fish to play. Most recreational players are scared of heads up but the fact that the majority of these accounts played $6 HUSNG specifically is not a coincidence.

4) The majority of these accounts play inhuman amounts of hours of poker. We are talking 24/7 for a lot of them. The ones that do take "breaks" just happen to take breaks at the exact same time for the exact same amount of time. I only looked at the first two accounts: Centistres and PopularSkunky and found there schedule to be identical. I am sure if it is looked into further there will be even more evidence of this.

5) They don't play anything besides freerolls and $6 HUNG once they have that much money

6) I can't verify this but i would venture a guess that none of these accounts have ever made a deposit

7) This is probably the smallest thing on this list but they all have the exact same or similar Ability rating on SharkScope

Yup, thank you for posting and laying it out correctly. WPN will look into it. Hopefully they are transparent with what they find.

I would certainly hope that we are kept up to date on the situation, at the very least with what actions are being taken. It was pretty disappointing to find this as there so few options for us U.S. players

So if they are making about 2c per game that's about 65c per tournament and there is maybe 20 freerolls a day? Obviously it's not a huge amount but they are also taking down leaderboard prizes which if I recall first place paid out a $215 seat. Not bad for not risking any money at all and making bogus accounts.

First place on the leaderboard is a seat into the $215 mtt, top 10 used to get tickets to the $55 Cage satty, but now are getting into the $55 WSOP/Punta Cana satty. So while it may not seem like a big deal being freerolls it is to the people who grind out those leaderboard prizes. Not to mention that this guy can easily migrate to other game types of he hasn't already.

It is being investigated.

There are some legit Russian players on ACR and members here. One of the best players on ACR is russian and a member of this forum

I have been playing a lot of games the last week and a half most $1-$5 games. numerous times well over 20 times i have seen a player write "thier poker name" Is back. Nothing else. Im worried about how many times and how manny different random times i saw it from random players. Im very suspicious it is part of some Macro to write something in chat to hide from bot detection.

Also wanted to ask you is their if any bot detection on ACR? im really scared to deposit again, it is jsut too much of a coincidence that these accounts are spamming the exact same sentence right when they register to a game and nothing else.

Those are players on a specific skin, I think its Betcoin. Its nothing to be worried about.

The skin itself makes the announcement when a 'new' player sits at a table, even if that's the start of a SNG

Take a look at the microstakes cashgames esp. 25nl. There are so many russians pplaying the same way itss ridiculous. Plus many of them seem to be female accounts which is just more ridiculous. You wanna tell me a bunch of russian women playing at 4am in moscow? These are bots and colluders and should be all banned immediately!

I noticed this months and months ago. Accounts that would play 16+ hours a day, 7 days a week with female names.

Honestly, if there is such an organized bot pool attacking the free rolls, you can be assured there are others on the site. You can be assured there are bots period.
