You do realize that WPN corrects the wrong the money is not stolen and the players are not out of pocket correct?
You're making the assumptions
1. Every player realizes every deduction made in error against them AND
2. Winning can detect they made the error AND
3. Winning chooses to refund them for the error
I've had it happen on the Pokerking skin multiple times and their support never responded/refunded. ACR and Ya support have been better, but you do need to go out of your way to send them an email when the error occurs. To the best of my knowledge, Winning has never looked into cases like this unless someone specifically requests an audit/complains about it, and they're not able to detect all the errors that can occur. I've heard some regs have been grinding with video to combat this, maybe one of them can better speak with their experiences dealing with jackpot errors.
We already know that a single player had $800 wrongly deducted from his account during the time period of one month, and he had to specifically ask Winning to look into his case. So we know the floor of Winning wrongly deducting money from accounts is an absolute minimum of $800. I'm personally out a few hundred dollars, but due to the lack of hand histories/tournament summaries for 8 months, it's impossible to tell exactly how much they took from me. When you start taking into account tens of thousand of players played jackpots on the new software over the past 10 months, I don't understand how anyone can possibly think this isn't a big deal. It seems ridiculous to think this is happening in online poker in 2017, but it is happening for Jackpots on WPN.
