I think the changing of format to this html inferior version was supposed to be in preparation for allowing shared pools between normal players and those on mobile when that launches, and I believe sng 2.0 is supposed to be done the same way. If it's taken this long and there are still no hand histories, bugs in which players aren't even dealt in, problems with the games launching at all, games not auto popping up after restarting the software, the king/jack face card swapping issue, not even being able to see opponents full names, player notes, points for first deposit bonus, etc., then it doesn't seem like they should have made this switch so soon. I do like the new seating method so you're not playing with the same guys on every table, and I like the idea if the maximizer, but not having a minimum buy in makes it useless at the moment. Who wants to play a $2, $10, and $40 jackpot at the same time?
