I'm not saying they do or don't, how can you tell? PT4 doesn't track any of them now, never did display the winnings right. So if you play the 40-50 a hour some "might" play, are you going to input 500 a day manually?

Hyptohetically, there is a god in space that is tracking everyone's results. And yes, some people are beating the PLO hyper jackpots. How to prove it without the hand histories and all of that stuff, I have no idea. But I can almost guarantee there are people that are playing the PLO Jackpots profitably

It's gotta be very few, anyone i've looked up for PLO is close to even or way worse. I'm not counting winning a 2k JP for a $2, that has nothing to do with being a winning player in my mind. Nice yes, but doesn't have anything to do with the skill of the player.

Fair point. But also, playing a 8x or 20x or 50x multiplier is part of the equity of signing up for a jackpot hyper....

Edit: If you are asking; can anyone sign up for a 3-man PLO hyper SnG, and receive a 2x multpiler everytime, and break even/profit? The answer to that question is probably no.
But that is not the question. Sometimes there are 4x...6x...8x...20x... and mega jackpot multipliers too. I feel like that changes the answer.

Double Edit: If you are looking at the "skill of the player", then don't look at the profit. Someone could be winning 40% of all of their Jackpot Pokers...but could be a losing player if all of their wins are 2xs...and they could be a "winning player" although not profitable...and someone could be a profitable player with a single win of 200x, but not a "winning player"

I agree, i meant only that if you take away some of these big JP's then most of those are losing otherwise. It's fair as far as everyone has a chance, I didn't mean that.
I fully understand what you are saying, the highest I had was $16 twice, and lost both times to odd runner runners. My biggest win was $12. I think the percentage would be a better gauge.

How long do you think that holds for though? If People played 2k games I would think barring the big jackpot players would have similar stats(not winnings) at the same skill level. It's funny you say that too because i like my stats....just not my winnings(or lack of).

Signing up for one buy-in to play a 3-man hyper SnG for a 2x prize is obviously -EV.

The value is in winning enough of the 2x games, plus winning enough of the 4x, 6x, bigger x, etc., to profit in the long run (if you can profit doing this. this obviously requires winning/running good in the bigger games)

Anyone having a similar problem - hands are importing in PT4, but i don't get the chip EV and all other graphs etc

My chip graphs are showing up. Only thing I can think of is to clear your filters and see if they show up.

They showed up till the 4.13.3 update, i have graphs from like 100 tourneys, but from then it is like i didn't play any tournaments, it show only those 100 tourneys from before, but the hands i played are imported normally and i can see them in the "Play poker" tab.

You need to make sure the tournaments are categorized correctly. This stopped working a couple days ago, and PT is now reading them as all sorts of strange things. Use the edit tournaments window to fix this. (You can batch edit buyin/rake/type.)

FWIW I think Max Cut's tournament summary script also fixes the tourney type to be the correct thing.

Just today PT4 is importing Jackpots all completely random. some will be hypers some will be 3max others superturbos.. not gunna play if i cant at least see my chip graph.

anyone feel like the chip ev isn't being recorded accurately? my chip ev went down when i got it in ahead every time..
