I have a simple question and I CANNOT get a response from ACR support. I have a simple question and I CANNOT get a response from ACR support.

Reached out via email and chat multiple times this week. No response after 4-5 days. As a matter of fact I don't think I've ever received a response from ACR ever. I think I've sent them maybe 3-4 emails over the years.

I won a seat in last weeks SNC for the 1k Cage 4 seat GTD sat. to be played on Jan. 8th at 8pm est.

40 people won an entry into the tournament. Only 12 are registered and I'm not one of them.

My question is, why not?

Hoping the answer is just a simple oversight on my part.

Thanks

Bonus question: Why doesn't ACR respond via email and why do they have a "Live Chat" feature if nobody is ever there?

Its because we havent regged those players yet.

Today or tomorrow you will be registered for it.

At times our emails end up in your junk/spam mail so check to make sure its not there.

OK thank you very much. I appreciate the response.

I did receive to my inbox the automated response ticket email that gets sent out when you got my email but nothing in my spam folder.

Its a bit confusing to reg some players and others wait. Not a big deal though.

p.s. TimmyOx is still on the SNC leaderboard without playing in any sng's.

Thanks for your time

He plays only JPTS

So jackpot points are being calculated into the SNC race now? Really? When was anyone made aware of that? The only information we have states January 13th as the day jackpots will be working normally again.

You can't start a sng race with the players thinking they'll only be able to play "normal" sngs that week and then reintroduce jackpots with 2-3 days left in the competition and then not even let them know. That's not right or fair at all. I'm sure most of the players competing have NO CLUE that jackpots are being calculated towards SNC right now.

How can you possibly think this is ok?
01-05-2017 , 03:26 PM
I dont get involved in this. As far as i was aware everyone was informed.

I have nothing to do with jackpots
01-05-2017 , 03:59 PM
We weren't informed. The only reason I'm aware of it is because I noticed the glitch that happened yesterday when all the jackpot points got added to the leaderboard all at once. I complained about it then and the jackpot points were removed and everything was ok again. But NEVER were we informed that jackpots would be counting towards this weeks SNC at any point. If we were informed I'm sure you'd be seeing a huge jump in jackpot play which I know you're not.

Sorry to involve you if this isn't you area but could you please pass this on to whoever is making these decisions.

This is not being handled fairly or competently in my opinion.

THIS!!!!!!!! When i saw that in the middle of the week all of a sudden people playing jackpots were being included in the sng race, i quit even trying since i went from 110 th place all the way down to 250th+. If i sound like a little whiny child sorry, but that is totally unfair. Tbh, WPN is run by such amatuerish standards and i'm sure that there are many who will agree.
01-05-2017 , 11:29 PM
Yup. They've been counting jackpot points all week without telling anyone they were counting towards SNC. So some people got to play in jackpots while the others were grinding away at standard sng's. Talk about an unfair advantage. I'd have a **** ton more points if I new jackpots were included before today. I bet a lot of people actually have no clue what happened.

may I ask where you got your info that points weren't going to be counted until the 13th?

Jackpot points haven't been counting towards SNC leaderboard since they made the update to jackpots AND they weren't counting again all THIS week either until yesterday(more than halfway through SNC week) when they decided to mysteriously add all the jackpot points people have been earning since last Saturday morning. So, the people just playing jackpots first half of the race with NO intention of competing in SNC, all of a sudden these folks find themselves AHEAD of hundreds of other legit SNC grinders who were playing in the regulars sng's all week.

No warning. No communication. All we have is the message on the jackpot lobby saying the hand histories are unavailable until Jan. 13th.

See the problem?

They ****ed up and now they're just gonna go silent (just like they do when their servers lag and crash) and hope it blows over, which it probably will because, like I said, a lot of people don't even realize what's going on.

I get where you are coming from but to me the timeline in the jackpot thread tells me that points were in fact were being given, just not showing up on the leaderboard. And to be honest it isn't fair to punish the players who were playing jackpots it is not there fault. Sorry man but I think you are out of luck.
01-06-2017 , 02:21 AM
They shouldn't punish the other players. I agree. I'm not doing this because I'm gonna lose out on any prize. I'm doing it to keep things fair all around and especially for the players that don't even know they're getting screwed out of a higher level prize or a satty entry. There WILL be those victims because of this.

When jackpot points are not showing up on the leaderboard, people are gonna assume that they still aren't counting, just like they weren't in previous weeks. How many of those players are searching 2+2 for that info? Less than .05% probably. Its an ABSURD decision to dump them in(or make them appear) mid week instead of waiting for the next race to start. And people shouldn't have to dig through some thread to find out information. This info should be readily available! The only info about when jackpots are gonna be fixed is the date January 13th posted in the jackpot lobby.

They should have let us known that jackpots were going to be counted this week.

But it is too late now.

Did you receive any resolution to this? I qualified for the same tournament tonight at 8 PM and I currently am not registered. I contacted live chat but they were completely unable to help... I noticed your name is still not registered.

Nope. It's 6 hours or so before tournament start time and they still haven't registered me.

If I'm not registered in time, I'll pay to register myself and will see about reimbursement.

I reg'd on my own.. not really interested in the cage, so want to take the satty seat as $$$ once they populate the game, and use for some other sat to something else i'd be more interested in.

Thanks. I didn't know one could do that.

Jackpots always have and certainly always will count towards the SNC leaderboard. It is not the sites fault that you are unaware of this. You are registered into the tournament in which you won entry. It is 100% standard practice for MTT regs to buy in to the cage sats with no intention of actually playing the cage.

I can only imagine your attitude toward customer service is reason you weren't successful in contacting support through other means. ALL CAPS typing and a know-everything attitude are def not ways to go about getting help with an issue.

You are wrong. Jackpots didn't count towards the lb for awhile after they changed format. It wasn't communicated very well at all by WPN when they were counting towards the lb again which is why some people are so upset. But since you are a schill I don't expect you to understand.

Every sentence you typed is wrong except for the regs not playing in the sats.

we cannot unregister from the cage after winning a seat? every other site you can unregister and take the $ but apparently not acr?
01-10-2017 , 12:24 AM
as much as Maybe_memories is one of my favorite posters I think OP had a legitimate gripe here.

That being said a bullet was mostly dodged as this midweek change had little to no effect on the $500-$1250 tiers. As that is the case I think it's fair to say would appreciate a little more communication in the future and then accept it is what it is as nothing can be changed at this point.
