You give serious players enough to play you will CRUSH the guarantees. With just the 5 nightly High Fives it's not enough. Please keep the $27.50 $12.5K, the $22 $4K 6 max and $109 $15K if nothing else.

Don't make the mistake Merge makes and remove some of the regular nightlies.

looks like that is the plan Also lame how the big 10 12.5k that normally runs at 8 has a bigger guarantee and smaller buyin than the high five $33 12k running tonight at 8

this has happened..they replaced a 2.5k,3k,4k,5k,12.5k, and 15k with 1.8k 6k 12k and 20k..42k worth of prize pools for 39.8k worth and less chances.

if the 12.5k and 15k were just removed all the others should easily reach their gtd up to the 5k gtd

does bcp have a leaderboard for this series?

meh.. nothing at 6pm .. none of the turbos.. kinda surprised the did away with the 15k, and the 4k 6max.. as far as when they fall in the day, but.
why would you need a selection of tourneys when you can just enter the same one 5 times.. someone slap me some skin!

This site has to have the worst players I've ever seen in my life. So many dolts just calling down bottom pair for stacks. That'd be great if I could run good enough to hold against them...... Re entries have destroyed the integrity of poker tournaments. Both here and Merge. What skill is there to drop 15 buy ins to finally fade the idiots?

Tomorrow the turbos will be back at the half hour. I will look at adding a few of the Big10 also. But as i said in another thread. I wont overlap any tournaments. I really cant do it right now. If things go the way they are today we are in for some big prizepools and a good future. gl to all.

Now, now, you wouldn't want your feelings hurt knowing how often I bust you. The whole point of my rant is that re-entries for hours upon hours is terrible for the game and promotes ridiculous variance. You get people going balls to the wall with any draw knowing they can get right back in. That isn't a bad thing, but it is when it lasts for 12 levels (3 hours). It crushes a recs chance of winning without running amazingly hot and gives the best player a ridiculous advantage because they can push the smallest of edges to gain a huge stack knowing they can just get right back in.

Fish go broke faster buying back in. Mediocre regs go broke faster buying back in. The best players have a bankroll and don't care how many bullets it takes and go on to cash/win more often than they normally would because they can push every edge without fear of getting knocked out. I've personally had a few of my best months since the Stars days since the sites started going to this model, but it isn't sustainable for the long term. Having a limited amount of re-entries would be a much better idea. Anyone who thinks it is good for the economy of poker is naïve.

Cliffs: Gimmick poker tournaments are terrible for the game and will hurt it in the long run.

GTDs were crushed big time tonight. I'd say it's safe to add back in the bigger big 10s. You shouldn't have overlap since there are gaps in the High 5 schedule. I'd love to see tomorrow (the rest of the series) look like below and if I was a gambler (LOL) I'd betcha (my best Sarah Palin imitation) you won't have any overlay:

This is a very playable schedule, if you want to keep all the Merge regs I'm seeing on WPN for the 1st time give them enough to keep them busy on your site. Tonight was awful with so little to play, only from lack of good value MTTs, the series is great.

Also you run sats for the bigger $25K the night before as well as the night of.

I kinda doubt the 12.5k will be added but I think the two 4ks and the 5k shouldn't have a problem. At the very least maybe add on 1 or 2 each day and see what happens.

though I think u flipped the 5k and 4k 6maxs slots..

This is what I feel an ideal daily schedule would look like (obviously some smaller mtt's the rest of the day, but this being the bulk of it). These guarantee's aren't that much bigger than the current dailys, and smaller than the high5 that all crushed their guarantees today. I also think adding more mtt's earlier would be a good idea, either starting 2 at the same time or starting more mtt's at :30. I've never had a problem with having too many tables on WPN, it's always the opposite, I am in 2 mtt's, bust one, and there is only one more starting in the next hour and a half. Having a couple more tournaments and maybe a couple satellites earlier on for the night schedule would really help.

I clearly don't expect WPN to be able to roll this schedule out right away, or even think about it(can't hurt to tell them what we want though), but I think this would be a good goal in terms of amount of tournaments and their guarantees, albeit slightly ambitious. Anyway, would love to hear some feedback as I thought this schedule up pretty quick and am sure there will be player groups who are mad I didn't include their favorite mtt.

It seems like you have all got your wish. The Big10 is also back along with the High Five. TBH i didnt want the whole schedule but i do have a boss so you can thank him for that. My fingers and everything else is crossed as yesterday was such a good day. I hope it continues.

Any chance we can get some "all in or fold" on demands alongside the flip satellites? I understand if they aren't as popular, but I prefer the over the flip satellites by a lot. If not I can just stick to a few normal satellites here and there, but I'll def. be playing more if they get added in.
