I may well indeed find it more underhanded than most of the other regs do. I've explained why in this thread. I would like to highlight a point I made late about how bad this can be for the cash games, though, when rec money leaves the table to play Double or Nothing.
If you google ACR double or nothing you'll see these two links in google
https://www.americascardroom.eu/poke...le-or-nothing/
"Note that you’ll be given an option to “Opt-out” of the Double or Nothing game when it appears. If it’s not for you, you can shut it off and never see it again."

"It may not be your cup of tea and if that’s the case, you’ll be given the option to not be presented with the game ever again."
At some stage a decision was made to go for the money grab, if you look at the language used on WPN websites, it's a clear reversal in attitude. I obviously consider the previous approach more ethical (even though I would prefer an exclude option), and the new approach decidedly unethical. It is no different than a site asking you via pop up if you want to play a hand of blackjack to get even
every time you're stuck or winning and leaving a table. The odds would even be better at blackjack.
To my eyes this is a clear money grab and the support team have been poor at communicating the change, or acknowledging the consequences of it, both via e-mail, via live chat and ITT.
