A poor decision to chip chop- Super Series #5

1.Players where unable to rebuy for a lengthy period

2.Players where not removed as they busted

3.Tables were not broken, no re-seating resulting in tables with no cards
in play, Heads up and varying numbers of active players

4.Players long after they thought rebuy their failed, upon the late restart had
chip and became active. Many probably unaware as this occurred late.

5.Those who had the addon option enabled were fortunate to receive a prize only if they had multiple active players upon restart, if heads up they got to pay two buy ins to be blinded out.

6.The leader board points were awarded unfairly because of the competitive
play at many tables

The late suspension and then a decision to restart rather was horrible for all of the reasons listed above. This site is proving itself incapable of running a
poker series without serious issues including game flow and the customer issues that follow.

I agree with this. The level of incompetence is simply mind boggling. I know someone who was busted for over an hour, still was logged in. After 30 or so minute pause at the end of the rebuy period, they were given a single and the add on because they had it checked apparently, for $6, then a few hands later chip chopped for less than $5.

I will be fair to Winning_TD (and not just because he posts here), I believe he would have handled this situation much better and simply scrapped the event as though it never happened, which is exactly what should have happened.

The night shift management is not competent to have this level of decision making however, they have proven incapable to the task before, this being I think the most egregious example. I know it's not always easy to get smart, competent people to run a night shift crew but complete embarrassments to the network like this illustrate why it's so important.

So basically, the same **** is happening this series, as happened last series ?

If you have compelling and substantive evidence of a rig, start a thread about it in Internet Poker. If not, there's a huge thread in that forum for you to speculate about your observations.

Seems like all these things do is suck money from the regs to pay for the GTD.

****ing bs going on for sure. Variance my ass when these broke short stacks constantly suck out causing people who actually deposit and play regularily to rebuy.

Wow, I must say that WPN has certainly done a good job of promoting this series on 2plus2.

So the real money tourneys were dead today, and a lot missed the guarantee. But the freebuy series freezes the servers.

Great going - bring people on the site, show em a Saturday schedule that sucks, and then crash the site.

I don't want to be that guy, but WPN, when are you going to update servers, or at least software. The fact we have 2 lobbies still is an absolute programming joke, and that alone I'm fairly certain slows things down. This has been an issue for years now, and is the biggest reason why your site doesn't grow. Fix it, please, or remain stagnant as a business.

I agree. I can see a noticeable difference in traffic. I'm not sure why ACR doesn't promote a FB page using the FB campaign advertising. They could spend $500 a week and reach tens of thousands of targeted FB customers through their advertising program.

agree 100%. even when there isn't lag on this site, there is still lag!!!. the fact it sometimes takes 3 seconds for a hand to fold after i click fold is ridiculous.

i dont put much volume in at Merge but i can say that their software straight up kicks the **** out of WPN's

When will the prizes for the Freebuy Leaderboard be given out? I placed in the top 25 and have yet to receive my cash prize...

I won two tournaments and cashed in 10 more. Came in 5th in the leader board.
