The late suspension and then a decision to restart rather was horrible for all of the reasons listed above. This site is proving itself incapable of running a
poker series without serious issues including game flow and the customer issues that follow.
I agree with this. The level of incompetence is simply mind boggling. I know someone who was busted for over an hour, still was logged in. After 30 or so minute pause at the end of the rebuy period, they were given a single and the add on because they had it checked apparently, for $6, then a few hands later chip chopped for less than $5.
I will be fair to Winning_TD (and not just because he posts here), I believe he would have handled this situation much better and simply scrapped the event as though it never happened, which is exactly what should have happened.
The night shift management is not competent to have this level of decision making however, they have proven incapable to the task before, this being I think the most egregious example. I know it's not always easy to get smart, competent people to run a night shift crew but complete embarrassments to the network like this illustrate why it's so important.
