I wholeheartedly believe WPN's view towards its customers was summed up in 2016 when Phil Nagy said something to the effect of "I may not be the best looking person at the bar, but I'm the only one talking to you." They know the US player base has so few options that there is no other viable option for a lot of players.


I can't get the volume I want on Ignition and I rely heavily on my hud to analyze my game and other regs so I'm just left to gripe on the forums. WPN knows that most players are like this and that's why they take cheating as seriously as a whoops cushion.

WPN_Reps can respond everywhere else on places that endorse ACR but refuse to step foot in here or on threads that suggest pulling their advertising. People deserve to know how backwards and shady their security / professionalism is.

In their defense, they started this thread. It's pretty safe to assume that they're reading it as well.

But they have a big problem when it comes to dealing with these issues. They either have an interest in keeping the status quo, or they are so incompetent that they're completely incapable of understanding/solving any of these issues. Either way, from their perspective, silence is the best option.

But is silence really their best opinion? This thread is a perfect example. A rep started this thread to supposedly to start a discussion about improving security but there has been no participation from their side. It really only shows one of two things. Either the network is run by a complete bunch of fools who have no clue OR they think the players are a bunch of fools who have no clue. Either way unless their attitude changes nothing will. Part of the rake the players pay is for security and to turn a blind eye to issues means they are stealing. Time to LOCK up the guilty parties.

The Ukranian accounts I reported are still active on the site. I wanted to give ACR credit for doing something when they sent me an email saying would look into these accounts, but absolutely nothing has happened.

FWIW, I got "BOT check" #2 today in last 3 days.

I'm glad something is being done but lets put a stop to this definitively.

WPN ask me to play on a webcam as long as all my Eastern European PLO friends (and other high volume players) are asked to do the same. I think we can get the games cleaned up in less then a month. Accounts that stop are obviously BOTs, accounts that have changed stats (which I'm sure WPN can see) are BOTs. After the initial purge, check unannounced and often to high risk accounts (any account putting in tons of volume). Easy fix, lets do it.

I know of 4 real players that this happened to, also. One when his wifi crapped out and he jumped over to his cell's hot spot. His game was froze and asked to call security pretty much immediately. Started over a week ago. Seems like it would be the kind of thing they should not announce. Why give a heads up to the guilty ones that it's being monitored better/differently?

What is the check? A CAPTCHA? Does it happen on a specific table or in the lobby?

Are you being singled out for a reason or is it random? (I have never seen one.)

Yes anyone depositing wpn is a fool myself included. A fool and his money are soon to part should be wpns motto.

to be fair we don't know that they haven't responded but if I had to guess.. It's also possible that they responded and it wasn't even close to what 2+2 was looking or hoping for and that's why we've not heard anything.
