Decided to give them another shot today and already can't get into a tournament I've re-entered. Lobby won't open and table never popped up.
12-12-2014 , 04:20 PM
Well I've been monitoring the threads for the past 3 or 4 hours and you're the first person to complain, so until further notice, you're an outlier.

Sorry.

P.s: Your avatar is gross.

****s fkt up
12-12-2014 , 04:24 PM
Well I still can't get into the tournament and all my other tournaments are working. Same thing that has been happening earlier this week to me.

Is chat down as well right now?

I had 9 SNG's up at the time of numberonedonk's post and they all froze for me for about 60 seconds. Once it came back other players were chatting about it so it wasn't an isolated event.

Fortunately things have been reasonably ok since (a couple short lags) but I immediately unregged everything I was in and am calling my session short to be safe.

Restarted client and was able to get into my tournament
12-12-2014 , 04:33 PM
I mean, given what's been transpiring for the past several days, some intermittent disconnects seem like a normal thing.

And if all it took was a restart, dude, you need to chill ya?

Ye ye ye almost done WHOOOO

I might add that you should exhaust all possible fixes on your end FIRST , before asking anyone for help. I'd say if program restart, then comp restart, then router/internet restart doesn't work, then it calls for help.

You think it's a bad idea to report server issues here? A small crash now could be a sign of massive outages to follow.

Personally, I have been checking this thread before every session the last couple days, if there is any sign of trouble I stay away. I want to thank everyone who has reported problems in this thread. Your view that players should stay silent on problems if simply ridiculous.
12-12-2014 , 04:47 PM
Nah, what I was saying was, first exhaust everything you can do on your end first. That way, you can be sure it's their problem. Do you follow, or? I can elaborate more I guess.

Like, don't you think it's a waste of space/time/bandwidth/2+2 resources to say:

"Guys, WPN is diarrhea cuz my software keeps crashing while I'm playing."

Then, out of impatience, you decide to try and troubleshoot yourself. You then realize all you had to do was restart your client. Haha. So in the end it was your problem not theirs. Ya feel me hoss?

If disconnects are a regular thing on a poker site I don't want to play on the site. But I didn't get disconnected. I was playing a tournament, busted, then re-entered and couldn't get to the table so I was blinding off. Now maybe you're ok with that but I'm not.

All it took was a restart? Please go **** yourself. I play more than one tournament at a time and shouldn't be forced to sit out in all my other games to restart.

The problem isn't on my end. All my other tables work, all my other sites work, and I've been having the same issues since all this BS started. Stop acting like you know everything.

I can't open one of my lobbies right now so do you suggest I just shutdown all my other games and do a simple restart?

You're a moron. Just because a restart fixed the problem doesn't mean it was on my end. Ya feel me hoss?

Hmmm, can anyone verify the validity of that claim? thanks.

Go troll somewhere else. You're clueless posts aren't need over here. Bye and thanks.

I'm too busy making money the way it's been done for centuries, sorry.

Also, you sound a bit mad.

Literally everyone at my table was disconnected, when it froze for me I didn't even miss a hand because everyone else was disconnected too. Once things came back people starting asking wtf was going on in chat. You think that's not worth reporting?
12-12-2014 , 05:07 PM
Nah I'll admit, that's pretty weak lol.

What tourny is this happening in anyway? JUst curious

Dear Valued Player,

For several weeks now online poker sites across multiple networks have experienced disconnections and disruptions.

Within the last few days, Americas Cardroom has been experiencing some technical difficulties due to deliberate disconnections produced by an unknown source. As a result, no internet service providers have been able to maintain stable connections, thus causing disruptions to some game sessions.

Resolving these issues is our No. 1 priority to assure you a stable and reliable environment. Please note that we are working non-stop to make sure these interruptions come to an end.

In addition to major connectivity improvements, we have enabled a new feature that allows us to pause a tournament as soon as a high level network disruption is detected. During this pause our tournament staff will communicate with players via table messages. Once the network goes back to its normal behavior we will resume all tournaments.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

The Team at Americas Cardroom
