Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread

Is anyone else at the amused stage now? I am actually finding it entertaining at this point. We should start setting over/unders on how long it takes to go down after it comes back up. Or we can set them on the number of people who will scream and cry here that they have 12 tables all frozen at once. Which leads me to what is really amusing about this whole thing. How could signing up for a bunch of tourneys or loading up multiple cash games be even remotely close to a good idea after what we have witness the past few days? But keep screaming when it goes down, I am finding this to be highly entertaining

Here's an idea: stop registering.

"But dat overlay!"

Let it go, just do something else until other people stop having problems.

Seeing Im forced to play the 13.5k since I sattied in, I'm hoping they last 3+ hours through late reg and I build a chip lead stack before the shut down, then they can go down again, pay out the field according to chip stack, WIN for me =]

I know support just doesn't get that the lag cost money to us as well

They act like one hand is not huge

Well been almost a day and half no email response

Resent and checked spam
Love when others who still buy into this dream of wpn crushing with nose in butt still

Ruddy G.:
Hello! Welcome to our Live Chat Department, my name is Ruddy.

20:13 Me:
hello sir

20:13 Ruddy G.:
Management is running reports on the affected tournaments and will issue refunds in the next 24 hours

20:15 Me:
well this is a bit of a pickle...we missed a few blind levels in the $40k GTD OSS event, and I busted out roughly right when we came back. does this qualify? im also unsure about registering for more tournaments if the same thing happens

20:15 Ruddy G.:
I don't have any details on this sorry

20:16 Ruddy G.:
I wouldn't recommend to not for tonight at least

20:18 Me:
you expect more issues?

20:19 Ruddy G.:
We don't have much information from IT at the moment and with the lack of stability on the servers we don't have much assurance still as to what is going to happen

20:20 Me:
alright...i appreciate the honesty in any case

Ruddy G.:
you are welcome

The tournament has to be out of late reg and in running stage, they did this for the 1k gtd today for me
12-10-2014 , 09:33 PM
so, since sunday, they run every day, then have to cancel almost all tournaments? While everyone is frustrated, confused, racing to get re-connected? Solid

...and it's gone (again).

i just dont understand why they dont just shut down the site for a day or two. I guess they would rather have pissed off customers instead of getting it right.

Yea, I was hoping this happened when it went down about an hour ago. I could have gone out instead Had no idea this was even happening since I haven't played on the site in like a year but they called me (lol) and said they gave me free money. I have no idea if they actually did but I have more on this site than I thought so I guess it was a nice reminder to withdraw it all.

Wow. This is ridiculous. Luckily this is the first time I've had to deal with this, but it's really bad.
12-10-2014 , 09:48 PM
whole thing is seized up on me. all my cash tables frozen. client un-responsive. I can't take no more and am done for the night (week?) until this gets situated a bit. glglglgl all.
12-10-2014 , 09:51 PM
Was able to log back into client, to resume the tourneys or not to resume is the question....

meh, $100 for a 2/5 player is peanuts

Attempting a new strategy

Buy in all tourneys with tournament dollars

Wait for inevitable server crash

Get refunded in hopefully cash
12-10-2014 , 09:59 PM
They give it back to you in tourney $ if that's what you bought in for
12-10-2014 , 09:59 PM
