It sound that way, I agree, but no, I've worked for large and small alike and I understand that some people may have multiple hats in a more middle sized group like I suspect WPN is (prob around 50 employees I'm guessing). I'm simply talking about ideals here.

That said, if WPN is SO small that they don't at least have different people running the network and servers than programming the application and at least one dedicated tester, well... run away. Fast.

Another excellent point btw. If you put a progress bar on a screen and it stalls at 80% for 5 mins, people scream.

Put a spinning logo on a screen with random sayings popped up every 10 seconds regardless of actual progress, they don't utter a peep...

If this isn't fixed and the million is cancelled, I'm calling BS. I want the overlay given to the players in the tournament at cancellation time. I have been investing time onto this site soley because of this event. I foresee them possibly not making an effort to fix this out of fear of going under by not meeting the gurantee. Not to be that conspiracy guy, but all they have to do is just say, oh we crashed, sorry if things go wrong and all of that gurantee means nothing. Just saying... Be warned.

I figured unregging would give me tournament dollars but if you can't do that then that is going to frustrate a lot of people who win a seat to an event that never takes off. They have to just go to bed staying reg'ed and wake up the next day to find out they timed out? Great option WPN.

Just had a break happen in a 3 max hyper turbo but their is an option to click "I'm ready" and I guess once all three players have clicked it the thing resumed. That option seems silly for a 3 max hyper turbo.

Just went belly up for me while playing cash games (10am est). Put up about 15 boxes saying software was out of date and gave me das boot. Keeps giving me same message when trying to get back in.

Problem is if you win a seat in an sng this way and it don't take off after you have waited an hour then just want to go to sleep you are kind of stuck whereas the typical satellites that don't get the minimum of players those actually get cancelled where the software can refund you.

Then dont play spins for the events that dont go off regularly. Seems like an east solution to me. And Im already addicted to these. Spent 0.20 to try to win a seat in the 0.50 OSS event later today.

This is a joke, right? If not, this is one of the most idiotic posts Ive ever seen. You really believe that they would not fix a problem with their software if they dont meet the guarantee? How would that be better for their bottom line than paying the overlay?

As of this post there is an overlay of about 800k. Obviously it wont be close to this when the tournament starts up. But lets just say they only get 1000 of the 2000 entries they would need for their to be no overlay. After factoring in the fees, that would be ~$460k of an overlay. That would never happen, but lets just say that is where it ends. How would not eating $460k be better for their bottom line than just not fixing a problem, or what Im sure you are thinking, faking an outage. If $460k stands in between them staying in business and going under, then they are going to go under anyway.

Im not even going to bring up your idea of wanting to be refunded the overlay money as well should something happen. That is just so LOL I cant take anything you say seriously. Please think before you post
