Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread

This is pure speculation, but I have a feeling that these "issues" are testers from the last time whoever was screwing up the site. I think in a weeks time there may be more issues with the big one.

Check your transaction history, I'm missing a few hundred dollars presumably from where I was trying to register things and couldn't.

I have missing funds over $100 as well and support got back with me saying they don't show any missing funds from my account, I'm really getting annoyed about this.

I didn't say it doesn't bother me, just that I didn't have it that bad today. There was a couple minutes of lag like 2, maybe 3 times - on maybe 2 of my tables at a time.

I guess it doesn't bother me a ton because I'm still making money and in general I think I'm just not a very tilty person in general about poker. I knew there might be some lag and chose to play anyway. Wait till I time out with AA in a huge spot and I'll be more annoyed, but not really that much because it's probably just as likely to happen to my opponent as it is to me.

That being said, the connection issues have gotten better since a year ago, but worse than a few months ago. They've got to do something about it, but I don't know what that is.

amazingly the only issue i had today was opening lobbies of really big tournaments during peak hours. the last 4 days have been smooth. i bitch a lot itt, but it's working out well right now.

smooth sailing for the million next week or was the DDOS attack spree just getting started?

I'm not even gonna bother with the million. Sick of spending hours playing only for the site to **** up. I doubt I ever play here again.

Good bye

I think this series is going alot better than December even with the small problems yesterday. They are worth the try seeing that worst comes to worst in the million they atleast have for sure refunds, dont see the site as a scam, and I'm sure they hate the stuff too.

I agree, I'm just not into wasting time only to get refunded. I had a huge stack in the 150k yesterday 5 hours in only to lose half my stack with top set after being folded when he shoved over mr x/r.

That's horrible. I, and everyone else, will be left with an extremely bad taste in our mouths if there are problems during the winning millions again. And for the love of god if anything happens like the quote above shut it down or pause it right away don't pussyfoot around cuz big stacks will get pissed if u cancel 6 hours in.

Adding to the complaints: Close to the bubble in the 150K Guarantee last night, three-bet AA preflop for 30% of my stack and get shoved on. Time out before I can make a call (timebank already drained due to previous disconnects). Go on mini-tilt afterward and spew off within 10 minutes. *palm to face*

What is the deal are we the players suppose to just take in the terd cutter when a hand folds off from software glitch
02-16-2015 , 11:22 PM
soo laggy???
02-16-2015 , 11:29 PM
a bit of lag here, prob. worse for others as the guy to my left just timed out and came back.
02-16-2015 , 11:29 PM
Not really lagging for me, but I'm getting disconnected on random tables almost every 1-2 minutes. Gonna take a short break and hope it gets better.

So skipping out on this, Sunday , doesn't sound too crazy right about now ?
02-17-2015 , 03:16 AM
WPN seems to be content with allowing the tournaments to run this time around and not compensating you when you have issues. Most of my tournaments were almost unplayable (while some weren't that bad) for over a hour and I was told I wouldn't be getting compensated.

Good to see that still playing here after the fiasco that was the last OSS isn't worth more than a few buy ins.

With the Million, the WSOP Satties, and the $300,000 2nd chance there is about 0% chance their shoe string site can handle it without issues at some point. I don't think there is anyway I can skip this Sunday, but it's probably the last time I ever give them action if it isn't smooth.
02-17-2015 , 01:59 PM
FWIW, I have played about 5 events thus far and no lag at all. I didnt play this past sunday though when I heard there was some lag.

I really don't see how with a 2k person milly, another 1.5k person second chance and anything else running this sunday can possible run smooth though... Just seems like they are biting off more than they can chew. Best of Luck though

Had minor issues sunday, I guess I was one of the luckier ones. But yeh if this coming sunday is as disastrous as the last big sunday it might be gg wpn

Maybe related to the $500 "guinea pig" freeroll they're running?

I notice reference to the second chance as being this Sunday when I have it listed as 2/26
