Running like a God in the $1k so it would figure...lol. Seems to be continuing - I noticed the other tourneys not on the schedule, but I wouldn't have thought they'd run the $1k and then just cancel it at 1am...

I'm sure they'll let it run for a while and then just cancel it randomly.

Not til the 1k's over...fingers crossed...haha.

Posted this but it didn't show up. (I probably posted it in a different thread)

It was just the cashier that was closed for a while and not the site.

Well, the cashier might be closed and not the whole site, but the site definitely isn't working right....Tourneys taken off the schedule and a 6-max that started 4 hours ago and still taking late reg and people are buying in like crazy with 5K chips while the tournament is in a state of pause.

This was a planned outage, numerous messages were sent site wide to players about 1 hour prior to the site being taken down starting about 3am CR time -6, also, we schedule these outages during our lowest hours as to have as little impact as possible, unfortunately, we will always impact players at anytime we schedule.

We do wait for any large tournament events to end prior to doing maintenance releases, this morning the site was not upgraded until approximately 5am CR Time, 6/7am EST.

As much as we would like to never have to take the site down, like any other site, maintenance and upgrades must be done to better our site and software, while we try to combine these to be as few as possible, sometimes we must do a release or maintenance sooner than later.\

We do not cancel tournaments randomly, especially larger events that have players grinding for hours, there is no benefit to us canceling tournaments, especially randomly.

The issue was the message saying the cashier was closing. I don't believe it said anything about the cashier. If it did it wasn't super clear because at every table I was at people were talking about it.

Maybe adding a line into the message saying this will not effect your current game or emphasizing its only the cashier would be helpful.

I will have to see if i can review the message, this was the message that was sent across the site?

The outage we had affected the entire site, players were unable to log into the software at all.

Certainly if only a certain area could be affected , i will be sure that the CS staff know to be specific, nothing more frustrating than being "vague"...

The message was the standard yellow banner that comes across all your tables when you are playing. It said something along the lines of "we will be experiencing down time from 1am-2am but we should return shortly"

This is to my best recollection, wish I remembered it exactly so I could be of more help.
