I like this idea for short stacks, but it seems bad for people buying in full. Say I win 50K today, I can't play unless I buy back in for 50K? That's dumb, it should be up to max buy in. Maybe that's how it works and I'm missing something, but seems very bad for action.

I like the 7 day no rathole idea, but only 10bb buyins seems pretty strange. Not only does everyone start off short stacked but you'll presumably have a continuous stream of 10bb players coming in?

I think running this with the usual 30-100bb buyin option would be a better idea.

Also, it it seven days from table start, seven days from your start, or seven days from when you last played?

I saw it this morning, had 3 people I think. Please consider capping required buy in at max for the table, even if it's a higher max than normal.

Sounds like a great idea. Reminiscent of the 5bb buyin tables on 888 where it's effectively a gamble initially but great edges can be had once the recs build up stacks.

Practical question: day 1 player goes $1k --> $2k
Day 2 $2k --> $3k
Doesn't play days 3-7
On day 8, does player have to buy in for $2k or $3k?

So what's the postmortem on this? Was it taken down after 1 week? I railed a few times, and it was fun to watch (and seemed fun to play too). I hope you can do it again in the future, maybe having some Stormer live stream it on Twitch like Partypoker does with their high stakes cash games. That way it has additional hype and marketing value. Also it would be awesome if you could make some 10bb buyin or even 5bb buyin tables (like on 888) at a lower stake, perhaps 5/10 NL.

I've got a little bit of action on these tables and I like them, but a week seems like too long of a wait. 24-48 gets rid of the short stack hit and runners, but I don't really want to scare off the people taking shots/fun players once they run up a big enough stack that it's worth not risking it. The funnest of fun players won't do that, but the middling ones definitely may be inclined to.

Overall I am a fan, once the game gets going the action is great. If only the action on the rest of the tables were good.

So I'm watching the action on the highest stakes PLO table and I actually have a note on one of the dudes playing. I played with him at 10plo and my note is how light he gets it in for plo and says he's a fish. Pretty hilarious that now he's playing the highest stakes on the site. Must be fun playing those stakes.
