blackchip softness? blackchip softness?

06-17-2013 , 10:33 PM
How soft is blackchip poker at low stakes? lets say stakes from 25NL-50NL. What percentage of players are regs?

To give a time comparison, I am used to playing 100NL in 2009-2010 on stars.

Thanks

Not soft enough considering how you have rake, bbj, and the beast to deal with.

can't say as far as the cash games, but I've never played as soft a field as far as tournaments. I've played on stars, ft and carbon and bodog. only been playing poker 3 years.

I won 1st place the very first night I signed up in a $6 rebuy two weeks ago, and i'm definitely not that good a player. have been able to cash twice in the $10,000 guarantee also. i'm not unhappy at all with the softness of tournament play. I only play a couple tournaments a day, so I don't have a huge amount to go on though.

Definitely soft enough on the non Beast tables, especially Omaha.

25/50 Im assuming you mean cents. Seriously though if your rolled deep enough and you pick your spots theirs enough idiots spewing 25/50 to cut a maybe not a great but a nice profit margin.

That is true but OP was asking about NL. Plus there are not as many non Beast tables. At times I guess there are some good tables even with Beast but your profit margin decreases significantly.

If you can play a bunch of tables you'll eek out a profit for the month from the Beast promo if you don't run bad that month. Games aren't soft by any means, though. Actually pretty tough games. Very hard to beat with 3 rakes.

If you're willing to start tables you can usually get people to join. Idk how everybody is stuck on BBJ tables, rake is obv sick

games are softer than stars. rake/bbj/beast kinda sucks but not unbeatable by any means..if you're good you can still make decent bank

Not soft at all. Toughest games online IMO. I would look elsewhere. Seriously, the games are way too difficult to do anything better than break even and lose to rake.

I've wondered that myself.

I only tend to play the Cap 6max tables for NLHE as the regular Hold'em is boring to me. Now if there would finally be some traffic for 7CS as well

Thinking about getting another acct, besides Bovada and Merge, and wondering how the limit traffic (in any game) from 1-2 to 3-6 is? thx

I wouldn't move from Merge or Bovada. WPN sucks. I have been on here for about 4 months and it has become a ghost town. The players I play at uNL are obviously the most degen uNL players left, as they are the only ones who will re-deposit consistently (myself included).

Rarely plo running at any stake, especially more than 1-2 tables. NL is always BBJ/Beast, but it's starting to run more (1-3 tables) at the reg 10NL tables, so maybe all limits will make more of a switch to the reg tables. I do have my doubts on that bc those who are grinding 25NL and up are likely chasing the Beast promotion or w/e it is.

I've become very frustrated. I usually am a consistent depositor more than willing to lose and reload, just as long as I have a good time playing. I like to multi-table and just click buttons and make quick decisions. I can't do that on WPN bc there's never enough traffic.

I cashed out 125 of 200 and prob will end up either donking the other 75 or just trading in the p2p thread, it's just become too frustrating to sit around at empty uNL, uPLO tables and wait for the occasional 20bb shortstacker to sit and play HU for 20 mins until you realize you're not having fun and wasting your life away.

The sign I knew things had gotten bad, and I mean really bad, is when I started to consider moving to Lock. I settled on possibly Intertops but I have to contact them and am too lazy to do so right now, so prob just hang it up for now. Online poker isn't fun as a US player, it's just not popular enough to sustain right now.

Haven't seen any limit games running really.
