Hmm, yeah after checking I don't know what their problem with it is. You can delete the address now for privacy if you want.

It definitely has enough confirmations, and you sent it from one address.

Only thing I can think of is if maybe it didn't get sent until after the time frame that the deposit page gives you.

But, either way they have your money now so it shouldn't be too hard for them to either credit your account or send it back.

just curious what did you do to see that they should have it...
02-20-2015 , 01:28 PM
I looked at the details of your transaction on blockchain.info and it shows that their address did receive the bitcoin and it has many confirmations.

It's because you didn't follow instructions properly.

I just went to deposit $20, and it said

Quote:
For your transaction to be successful
you must send exactly 0.08249804 BTC
You probably got something similar, but instead of sending the exact amount, you just went to circle and sent $20. The exchange rate constantly changes, so instead of sending the exact amount of bitcoin that ACR told you to send, it sent some slightly different amount.

I will concede that WPN's implementation of bitcoin here is not noob friendly on both the deposit and withdrawal side.

But yeah, you didn't follow instructions and now you have to do some legwork to fix it.

I'm a bitcoin noob and was wondering what the fees would be approximately if say I cashed out $1000 to a blockchain to coinbase then moving it to my bank account?

I know the market will fluctuate some but say it didn't what would I be paying per $1000 to get the money to my bank account?
02-21-2015 , 02:02 PM
It would be ~1% with CB to get your money in your bank account in about 3 business days. If you signed up with Circle, you'll only lose out on a few cents in miner's fees.

Thanks!

So in that cause would I just be signing up with Circle for everything or would I still use blockchain as a middle man to move the money to Circle?

I would sign up for Circle for everything. For safety reasons, I'd still use a block-chain type wallet as a middle man to go from ACR > Middle Man > Circle > Bank Account.. simply because Circle is a bit newer and we don't know if they are going to be against gambling transactions like Coinbase is.

Bank <-> Circle <-> Blockchain <-> ACR

^^^ - Thanks for the help! I've been using the debit card withdrawls but looking into bitcoin as well because it never hurts to have multiple options to move money around so maybe I will set it up soon.

Get on the bitcoin train beer it's by far the fastest/cheapest way to cashout. Once xapo get's their debit card launched it will essentially be the same thing, with less fees and more flexibility.

My bitcoin deposits have been getting canceled non stop. Something is wrong with their payment processor.

I obviously sent to right address and the exact amounts. But it seems like their payment processor is not receiving it within 7 minutes, even though each transaction I've sent within 30 seconds of initiating the deposit.

Where are you sending from? Did you verify that the entire amount is going from a single address to the deposit address?

I never made a withdraw from electrum/blockchain to coinbase. But i do know its 1 percent fee to go from coinbase to bank of america. However if you use circle theres no 1 percent fee? But isn't it true circle's bitcoin price is less though meaning the amount you get would be less? Example say just withdraw $2000 worth of btc to bank of america... its 1 percent so $20 fee plus a 15 cent transaction fee. You get $1979.85 ACH transfer in few days. But with circle, you get more or less than $1979.85? I dont understand how circle is free whereas coinbase is 1 percent b/c if its free... wouldn't everyone use circle? I did recall someone saying the price on circle is less so say you have 2k worth of btc to transfer from blockchain... its cheap to go from blockchain to circle to bank acct as oppose to blockchain to coinbase to bank acct?

Someone here mentioned coinbase is closing accts related to gambling but isn't this only true if you go from coinbase directly to gambling site. Thus if you never do that, it doesn't affect you?

Both sites set their own exchange rate, so it depends. Sometimes Coinbase may be a better deal, and other times Circle.

In my experience though, every time I have checked Circle has had a better price.

As an example, looking at both, if I were to sell 1 bitcoin right now I would get:

Coinbase -> $247.25 - $2.47 fee = $244.78 in bank acct

Circle -> $249.47 - $0 fee = $249.47 in bank acct

So at this moment you'd get about 2% more money in your bank account using Circle.

The numbers are always changing though, so that's why I recommend checking both and seeing which is a better deal at the time.
02-21-2015 , 11:33 PM
Hey a bit confused on this. So you are saying right now whether selling or buying bitcoins... its cheaper on circle right now? Or its only selling but not buying since the price is higher on circle?

Also when you say check prices you mean only check the buy or sell depending on which one u want to do now right?
02-22-2015 , 01:20 AM
The numbers I showed were from opening each website at the same time and setting it up a hypothetical sale of 1 bitcoin. It shows the final amount you'll receive before you actually click to process it.

Not sure about the buy price on each because I didn't check.

In order to get the best deal when buying you'd do the same thing. Log in to both sites and fill out a buy order for the amount you want and compare which is better.

Weeeeeeeeee

5 Minute Deposit and I'm good to go.

Great and easy way to deposit $2k without huge fees.

wonder why btc withdrawls take so long, should be instant provided there are enough funds/it gets approved
02-25-2015 , 11:01 AM
they don't process on weekends. so if u req on thurs or fri.. nothn til Monday.. usually takes about 2 days I find

best part is .. instead of paying fees for cashouts.. ive made a lil $ on each withdrawl so far haha

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet but: would there be a way to hedge against the short term fluctuations in the price of bitcoin while making my withdrawal from WPN?

For instance:
I withdraw $25k from my WPN account using bitcoin
I short $25k worth of bitcoin in my brokerage account
When I am able to complete my bitcoin withdrawal and convert the bitcoins to dollars I unwind my position in the brokerage account.

I'm not sure if it would make since to do this because of transaction fees and margin associated with making the trade in the brokerage account but it might make since for large withdrawals.
